Beautiful cozy cottage ideally situated by the lake in Queens Park. Wifi signal was good. Lovely shower really warm. Parking off road which is always a plus. Good communication with owners.

There was nothing to dislike......the doorways and ceilings are low in areas so if you are really tall could prove a problem but it is a cottage after all.

Oar Cottage is a lovely little cottage in a great location with direct access to the beach and a 5 min walk to all the amenities. Perfect for a short stay.

We travelled for 3 hrs and on arrival with two small children there was no toilet roll. Properties usually leave 1 and as a guest we would always replace / leave for the next guest. Bath towels were very small, I would recommend some bath sheets for adult guests, the towels provided were fine for the children.

Lovely little cottage, will be perfect in the summer when more facilities just round the corner from cottage will be open especially if you have children. My son loved seeing ducks in the morning from a bedroom window too. 2mins walk & you're on the sea front too.

Let down on the cleanliness of the bathroom. Wasn't a fan of having lots of leftover products (maybe from previous customers) around the house. Eg. 2-3 part used shampoos, 3x tampons in a box. 3x jars of open coffee ect... Washing machine wire doesn't reach the only 2 plugs in the kitchen, we had to buy an extension cable anyway as we had a baby steriliser & bottle machine with us for our 4month old & we couldn't make our toddler toast or have a brew at the same time as sorting the baby out.

Location was excellent and very quiet. 1 mins to the beach and ten minutes to the centre centre of Mablethorpe. 2nd time i have booked it and would use again in the future.

Nothing really only the tv reception is not brilliant but that's the entire area not specifically to this cottage.

The location was exactly what we wanted, next to the beach and the lake, unfortunately that was all we liked about our stay

First of all the furnishings, the mattress in the front bedroom was paper thin, it creaked with every move you made, because of how small the room was it had to be pushed up against the wall. There was nowhere to put your clothes in the front bedroom when you got undressed at night, we took a chair up from downstairs. One side of the reclining sofa didnt work, there was just one two seater sofa with two uncomfortable dining style chairs. The back bedroom, we moved the bedside cabinet to plug a charger in and the dust and cobwebs were unbelievable. There were spare pillows in the bottom of the wardrobe in the back bedroom, I have used betternfor my old dog. The bathroom was dirty, the shower tray dirty, the shower shelf/wrack was just full of rust, the toilet was blocked. In the kitchen I had to wash everything before I used it. The sink drainer was meant to be white, but was filthy, the kitchen sink was disgusting. Didn't open the microwave or the oven so unsure what that was like. Couldn't light the hob so didn't use the cooker. We just felt everything was tired and dirty and lacked love. This was meant to be a relaxing break for my hubby and I along with our two grandchildren for hubby's birthday, we had a fantastic break, marred by the accommodation

Only 2 comfy seats. Problems with heating and shower temperature. Poor quality mattresses and duvets.
