Tracy and Richard made me feel very comfortable. I enjoyed the spacious bedroom, having access to their lovely garden, and the delicious cooked breakfast. I will certainly stay with them again.

Tracey was a fabulous host and her breakfast was perfection! We didn't feel like a full English as we'd had one the day before so just had egges on toast and a sausage and egg sandwich and they were delcious. The bed was super comfortable the room was very well maintained and decorated nicely. Tracey was very knowledgable about the area and things to do, we also loved meeting her dogs and cats! It was really helpful to be able to have use of the fridge in the summer house too.

Everything was perfect, with a welcoming, friendly host in a quiet, central location. We had all the essential facilities and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the blackout blinds, the bench outside the window and the dining out recommendations from our host. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Nothing was too much trouble and we would like a return visit. The village has plenty of options for eating out and we especially enjoyed our tasty, well-priced meal out at the Ship Inn. The accommodation is well placed for getting to Bempton RSPB Reserve, Sewerby Hall & other North Yorkshire coastal resorts.

Nothing to dislike. A great little break in a beautiful part of the country.

Had a lovely night here at Thorncroft. Wendy and her husband made us very welcome. Room was lovely overlooking a beautiful garden. Bed very comfortable. Had a lovely cooked breakfast. Bathroom spotlessly clean with a lovely shower and bath. Would definitely return and recommend it to other people.

Excellent stay. Very large double room, secure off road parking, very close to the village with it’s facilities and a very nice, friendly and helpful host Tracey who cooks a superb breakfast. Although not en-suite this was not a problem and there are separate shower and bathrooms available. Definitely would stay here again.

Everything one would hope or expect a B&B to be. A very friendly and helpful greeting. The room was enormous, and very well appointed. Although the bathroom facilities were not en-suite, they were the next best thing. Breakfast was substantial and satisfying. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and an excellent decision to stay here.
