Everything was pleasant and delightful. Breakfast was great.

For such a wonderful experience overall, the coffee could have been a bit better / stronger. It was not as good as the food and the rest of the stay. All else was great.

What a find the Yelton Manor was. We were attending a family wedding in the area and wanted to stay on the lake, in South Haven. We paid a little more than we usually would prefer, just to be comfortable and really enjoy our time in Michigan. The Yelton exceeded my expectations in every way. The place is beautiful, old, and in great shape with such personality! It's from the 1800s and there are tons of little cozy nooks and crannies to sit in, read books in, and warm yourself in front of a fireplace...there are books, antiques, and artwork everywhere. I only wished we were able to stay a week to spend more time at the inn itself, relaxing and taking advantage of all they had to offer. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful - the coffee divine! So many little extras everywhere...chocolates, blueberry cake, brownies, cold water, ice, fruit...your wish is their command. Dan, the caretaker when we checked in, was a wealth of information. He recommended Taste as a local restaurant our first night and it was perfect. Our room was clean and comfy - we were in the Avery Suite. I emailed the inn as soon as I booked to give them information on my small service dog and they were so accepting and wonderful about having her, as pets are not allowed. Even though we have a family home nearby, we will come back and stay at this treasured inn in the future, for sure!

Location to beach and town, breakfast was great, room was comfortable, place was kept up well.

The staff was very polite and our room was very inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the fruit was very fresh. We would love a variety of breakfast breads ie bagels, muffins, multigrain toast, scones. Thanks

There were five options available, offering an excellent variety. The two we chose were delicious! There was also fresh fruit to grab, brownies and or coffee cake, and a great sampling of beverages.

toilet didn’t work right and the staff and other guests weren’t friendly. I’ve never stayed at a B&B that was so inviting and welcoming.

Food was excellent. Choices were limited, but the staff showed very good flexibility. And there were several neat locations to sit and enjoy breakfast. Either alone or in conversation with other guests.

Our room was a bit dark. It was hard to get enough light to read.

Super comfortable beds. Good nights sleep both nights.

Breakfast is limited and is a vegetarian kitchen so no meat available. But food was delicious.
