Beautiful location, just on the beach. Very well equipped and maintained. A small supermarket is available inside the residence. Great staff.

location is good and the private beach with allocated sun loungers and umbrella. very friendly lady in the coffee bar who served us breakfast every morning.

loud music from Tony’s bar was awful and spoiled afternoons on the beach. apartment is basic and we had a few issues like a leak from kitchen sink. ( it was mended but all the water underneath the sink was left for us to clear up. lights by the bedroom were hanging off the wall and had to be fixed. I don’t think the cleaners report any issues to maintenance. The Tractoria restaurant menu is very limited for a 2 week stay. I had an inedible fish pasta dish which I still had to pay €18 for. This was our 4th stay at Golfo Del Sole and unfortunately it feels like it’s gone down hill.

The beach is fantastic! Clean, calm sea, pre-reserved loungers for every unit, water sports…couldn’t fault it as a family-friendly beach. Pool was also great, kids spent hours on the slide. Apartments were clean, spacious and reasonably equipped. Facilities on site were great, couldn’t fault them, and no stupid rules like you get on other similar resorts. Finally, the 2 on-site restaurants were fabulous, particularly beachfront La Duna. Close enough to Follonica to cycle. Also an hourly tourist train from the middle of the resort to town was great to avoid using the car. Surrounding countryside was great for mountain biking and road biking.

Not much… Wasps are a bit of a problem on site. We got swarmed a couple of times when eating before sun-down. It wasn’t a problem for us as we are German speaking too, however this is clearly a Swiss resort (90+% the week we were there). This isn’t really clear when booking through Booking, therefore we were a little surprised at first. Guests from other countries may feel a little excluded. Great if you’re Swiss though. Shame the on-site bike shop was closed all summer (until 26. Aug according to the notice on the door)…would have loved to take one of their road bikes for a few days.

Nice resort. Great location and friendly staff. Apartment didn't look like the one booked in the pictures however it was plain, clean and functional. The access to the beach was exceptional and so was the experience overall.

- nice beach - water is shallow for a while so it's great for kids too - many playgrounds and some are also with shadow so that the kids can comfortably play in the middle of the day

The take-away options in the restaurant are limited to pizza, lasagna and fries.

Very family friendly with multiple playgrounds, mino-glof, nice pools and clean beach area. We added the breakfast upon arrival and were happy with that decision. We were also pleasantly surprised by the safety of the roads with no cars allowed. We plan on going back and next time we bring scooters to move around as the groundings are quite large :-)

All fine and within expectations. Only negative would maybe be that the wall/ceilling were not soundproof and you can hear everything the neighbors are up to...
