The view was stunning! Hotel is placed in the amazing area among mountains, rivers and the ocean. The room was really nice and the breakfast consisted of regional products.
The bathroom had a quite old shower and you had to be careful not to wet the whole room while using it.

Everything else was perfect. Beautiful view, modern room, great food - dinner and breakfast, very friendly staff.
We ended up staying at the sister residence for an extra fee.
There was an issue with the drainage in the shower.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Together we put out a fire in the toaster.
The breakfast was very very good!!! Home Made products, a cheesecutter like you’ve never seen. And we had a spectacular view over the fjord….
Farmhouse is a kind of dependance of Hofstadir. It is like you staying with the family with grandma overseeing you’re wherabouts. If you pay that kind of money, be sure you book Hofstadir and not farmhouse. (Sorry you all so friendly)

The room was super comfortable, the bed was great, and the staff amazing. Loved that they had a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. We had one of our best meals in Iceland at the restaurant which is on-site.We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The coffee was so good, the best we've had in Iceland.

The place is new, clean and modern. Staff is just great, as well as their food. Dinner at their restaurant was really good. View from the room was beautiful.
Maybe 1 small thing: We were accommodated in the other property, 200 meters from the place where we were supposed to be. It is owned by the same person tho.

Farmhouse is perfectly located, the staff is really nice and the breakfast is the best we’ve had so far in Iceland (variation of locally produced goodies). The room was spotless and fresh with beautiful view. For sure the best place to stay while being around!

The furniture is very nice but in times of corona it would be better to have furniture that you can clean or desinfect
