As advertised its a quirky property. Be aware no wifi or TV. Some people are probably OK with this.

Quite hard to negotiate suitcases upstairs.

The bothy was excellent

Building work going on ,scaffolding on terrace and being woken up at 9am. But Building work next door , nor bothy issue, would of appreciated knowing before arrival

nothing - be aware of steep stone stairs and no Wi-Fi/tv but this is well advertised and both posed no problem for us

Fantastic location right in the heart of the town. Comfortable accommodation with added bonus of outside terrace. Bathroom a nice size. Nice that they added refreshments including locally brewed beer and complimentary toiletries.

We managed the stone staircase okay but can imagine this might be a challenge for some. Fairly expensive compared to come one night stays we've had this trip, but can see you are paying for the convenience of being centrally located in the town.

Clean warm and welcoming on arrival. Helpful hosts. We would be happy to go there again. The apartment is as described quirky and small which added to its appeal for us. Our little dog settled very well there too. In the centre of a lovely quiet little town.

location was perfect. nice and quiet yet right in the centre. space was great and fitted us all in nicely for the night.

only one picky bit! shower head doesn’t stay in place which given the small amount of hot water available made showering quickly more challenging

Lovely little touches like cookies and beer, property was very good location, and had most things we needed, nice and clean and warm, we managed to park by the church every day for free so that was easy enough, lovely walks nearby

The bed wasn't very comfy for us, and only 1 chair to sit in so had to sit on the bed, but limited space so probably couldn't get another chair in. Would benefit from wifi and a hairdryer.

This quirky property is amazingly comfortable and in a fabulous location. Decor is perfect and the addition of the outside area is fab for an evening drink, or a morning read in bed with coffee. The Kirkby Lonsdale brewery is a fantastic place to spend any hour of any day. Also recommend the bakery on the high street. The walk along the river is a proper treat, as is the nearby waterfall walk.

Great location in the middle of the town, walk straight out into shops/pubs. Fantastic brewery and coffee place across the road. Bothy is really quirky, with bags of character and all the basics you need, plus balcony seating. Complimentary local produce was a nice touch.

It is small, so wouldn't recomend a week long stay. No parking due to its location and pretty difficult finding somewhere, on-street is only 1-hour through day and nearest proper car park is very busy. And no seperate motorbike parking bays nearby.

Fridge not very efficient in fact on our second night started making a noise so switched it off at the mains.

Great location and great touches such as the complentary tea, coffee and the beer and cake which were left was a lovely surprise.

A quirky, cosy property with a great central location. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. Great commutation from the host who told us all the information we needed prior to the stay, inc where to park. The terrace was a great additional space, too. The property has everything we needed - toaster, microwave and mini fridge. Enough to keep us going through the day but encouraged us to try the local restaurants for an evening meal. P.S. There is no Wifi at the property but phone reception is great 😊

Great location right in the heart of Kirkby Londsdale, right in the midst of the shops, bars and restaurants but situated in a small lane off the main street so it is really peaceful as well. The 'bothy' is small and quirky but immaculately clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony with table and chairs to sit outside which catches the sun all afternoon and evening. Really comfy bed.

Property is pretty small with original stone steps which are quite steep but if you don't mind those its great. No TV or Wifi but actually found it really nice not having one.
