Location breakfast and the staff were nice

The room was dated beds too soft only my opinion it just needs updating

Great service

Convenient location. Helpful staff. Good food (breakfast only was taken), dining room clean and spacious with good choice of breakfast.

First morning was woken early (07.15) with loud Christmas carol music from the bar area, directly below our room. Although the sound in the bar itself wasn't loud, due to the speakers location, it sounded very loud in our room. However, this was mentioned to a staff member at breakfast that morning, thereafter, no early morning music was played again, so thank you. Room was 'tired'. No facilities for hanging long clothing items, dress, coat etc. Wardrobe only for short items, shirts / skirt etc and no hooks on doors (could see where they had been). At breakfast on one occasion, there was a staff argument / disagreement in the kitchen / reception area, clearly overheard and involved a lot of swearing. Whatever the reason, this should not have been overheard in the public dining room by guests.

Hotel was comfortable but outdated breakfast was good

Staff called chasing money as it was booked through booking.com but was extremely rude and aggressive until the owner came on phone and apologised for her staffs behaviour,this hotel was booked for business and will will not be returning any time soon unfortunately

Breakfast was delicious , lovely bathroom, nice touch with milk & water available in fridge on the landing

Could be a little cleaner , net curtain in bedroom very dirty

The new owners were very nice and friendly and the service was great, fabulous breakfast. Loved the updated bathroom suite and the little milk bottles that were readily available for tea and coffee, lovely touch.

Bedroom decor and furniture was outdated, hopefully they plan to update the bedroom as nice as the bathroom.
