Alojamiento cómodo a muy buen precio y el personal es muy bueno y humilde.

Primero que nada hay que resaltar con mayúscula la clase de personas tan especiales y tan detallistas como lo son Don Max y Doña Martha, son un ejemplo a seguir y ojalá así fueran todos los hostales. Tienen un ímpetu en los detalles mínimos como los traslados que nos ofrecieron que los hacen por estar por encima de los demás hostales de la zona. Ya con lo primero uno se siente como en casa desde el primer segundo, el lugar es completamente cómodo y bonito se siente uno como en familia, además siempre procuran que uno se sienta muy cómodo y al final no quiere uno ni devolverse. Las habitaciones son amplias al igual que el baño y con cocina para preparar alimentos. Hay algo que uno se lleva en el corazón y es el rotulito que le hacen a uno al llegar que lo hace sentirse muy cómodo. El barrio muy seguro y queda genial de camino al puerto para ir a la Isla de Ometepe. Volveré apenas pueda !!!

Max and Marta were the nicest hosts, very kind and really made sure we were comfortable. The room is big and spacious, and it was nice to have a kitchen. Good location for walking to the centre of Rivas, and 10 min drive to the port to Ometepe

We had an amazing stay here. The location is practical, and the neighbourhood is more fun than expected, with fine restaurants, a second-hand clothing store and a lively street just around the corner. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated with lots of love. But the main strongpoint were the hosts, just so kind and helpful! Heartwarming :) we really felt at home.

Max is one of the most friendly hostel owners I have ever met. He drove me around through the city and helped me with booking buses. I can definitely recommend visiting this wonderful room!

Max and Martha were the perfect hosts! This property is their home and they really make you feel like it’s also your home. I stayed one night after visiting Ometepe Island and before an early flight the following morning. They offered to pick me up from the ferry and helped me organise the fastest and cheapest transport to get to Managua early the following day. They even woke up and took me to the bus stop around the corner at 4am and checked in with messages to make sure I arrived safe! Such a lovely, homely experience!

We loved our stay here! The owners are so so friendly. Made us feel at home. They made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the bus stop the next morning! Really really recommend this place!!

Max and Martha are the very friendly owners, they drove us to the bus stop and let us drop off our luggage very early when we arrived. There are a lot of mosquitos, but there was an electric mosquito repellent in the room. Strong wifi.

The place has everything you need: the rooms are big, clean and mostly: full of love. Max and Martha are incredibly friendly and full of positive energy. They pick you up and drop you off wherever you’re coming from/need to go. So if you want to feel comfortable in a city that can feel uncomfortable sometimes, book this place!

Max & Martha were charming hosts and the apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped - we loved it here! It was easy to find and they had even left some friendly notes out to guide us into the room. Great price too, really good value.

The most friendly and hospitable family, they offered to pick me up from the ferry and they drove me to the atm and bus station. They know their town well, you can ask them where to get anything. Very warm people and very clean and comfortable room.

The room is spacious with a little kitchenette and bathroom. We were only here for one night, but the owners are incredibly nice and will help you out with anything!! Can only recommend staying with this local family!

Excellent location for getting the bus south to Costa Rica (or north), or if coming back from / going to Ometepe. Such a kind owner who even gave us a lift to the bus in the morning! Lovely spacious clean room. Cheap. Best option in Rivas

Sooo lovely hosts!!! Maybe one of my best experience in Nicaragua (which is not easy as all people there were so nice!). From outside, I was initially a bit scared, but as soon as I entered it all vanished. The apartment is simple but luminous and clean.

They even drove us to the bus stop the next morning. - The apartment was comfortable and was really well equiped (stove, cooking gear, coffee machine, etc) - We had a nice terrace with hammocks, chairs and a table. - Strong wifi - It was very clean - The location is walking distance from Rivas bus terminal and Tica bus.

Staying at Hostal Las Brisas Isla de Ometepe was an amazing experience! The room is more of a studio apartment , with a bathroom/shower, a refrigerator, a kitchen sink area ( with pots, pans, dishes and utensils), a stovetop , and a dining table. The sleeping area was of ample size and the bed was comfortable; there was also a couch and a pair of rocking chairs that I took turns sitting in while I read my book in the evenings. To top things off, the internet and water were without issue my entire stay( a rarity throughout Nicaragua). As for location, this location is very ideal... you are at a biking distance to San Jorge ,which gives you barge access to Ometepe Island; you have stores ,super markets, barbershops/beauty salons, and bars and restaurants all minutes away, as well as, all of the important bus stops if you're traveling to Costa Rica, San Juan del Sur, Granada, Leon, or Managua. My favorite part of my stay here were the hoteliers , who welcomed me after my late night arrival (with fresh coffee) from an all-day tour on Ometepe Island . They give the place a family feel and helped me find my way around Rivas, including taking me to an ATM and Western Union when the need arose. Their service and genuine care for others gave me a sense of belonging while visiting a new place. Thank you so much Martha and Maximo!

Dislikes..I didn't have any. However, I want to be clear to anyone looking for an ideal location for their trip circumstances. Hostal Las Brisas Isla de Ometepe is not a 5 star hotel, so if you are looking for that style of place to stay, I suggest you look elsewhere. This is a great place for adventurers and others seeking a safe and homely place to stay while in Rivas.This location is in the process of becoming better with each month that passes, as the owners are remodeling various areas to better accommodate future travellers. This is the only reason I've given cleanliness and facilities an 8 out of 10.

Martha and Max are really firendly hosts, felt so welcomed! Enjoyed my stay there, as I got the feeling ofa homestay :) They are currently renovating their guesthouse - it's going to be super cozy! Parking lot is provided. Got a single room, which was kinda rustic- however clean. Would go there again!

Rustic but very charming

Super friendly hosts and the neighbourhood - a normal local street with people going about their life. It was very interesting to sit in front of the house and just watch what's happening in the street . Max kindly took us to the ferry by his car ( he generously offers this to his guests, but please make sure that you offer to pay for the ride - about 50 Cordoba) because gasoline is not cheap and they can use that money)

The room is quite hot - a window that can be opened (with mosquito net on it) would be helpful to have fresh air.
