The location is amazing. Very close to Quinta da Regaleira. A little bit scary to walk in the neighborhood by night (It's probably very safe). But it's very magical when you reach Quinta da Regaleira and see the lighting.

Everything was ok

The place is magical!! If you like to walk, you will have everything walking distance!! The rooms are very comfortable.

The toilette lid was broken and made lots of noises. The power went out 2 consecutive days. The internet is not reliable.

Zalige bedden, er stond een koffiemachine in de kamer, er was een minibar met drankjes, prachtige lobby, er was zowel een ventilator als een elektrisch vuurtje, prachtig uitzicht, grote badkamer. De kamer was ook heel leuk ingericht.

Het is zeer moeilijk te vinden in het donker. We moesten € 4,- citytaksen betalen maar men kon niet terug geven op € 20,-. We hebben een kwartier staan wachten tot hij wisselgeld had gevonden. De verf blakerde van de muur af door het vocht in de badkamer en er was ook sprake van schimmel. Dode muggen overal tegen het plafond en de muur in de slaapkamer. ‘s nachts is er niemand aanwezig. 24/7 receptie met een telefoonnummer erbij, maar we konden niemand bereiken.

What a magical place in which to spend our last few nights in Portugal. You will feel transported to another place in time. The staff, the delicious breakfast, the on-site bar and dinner opportunities (order an hour ahead!) made it a great experience. Loved the “medieval pub” next door as well. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the center of town.

GPS is a bit wonky in that part of Sintra and WAZE tried to take us on restricted roads. Look for a sign directing you to the hotel in town and make a sharp right after the sign. Or, just ask someone- everyone knows this place!

This lovely property is well situated for exploring Sintra. Being just out of the busy centre, it’s like a quiet oasis. The staff could not have been more helpful, plus it’s immediately next door to a great medieval pub. We loved it.

Very boutique and comfortable, wonderful breakfast, the best chocolate croissants I’ve ever had! Staff very friendly and accommodating!

It was very difficult to find, but it was raining and at night! However, we found it and we were welcomed in and taken care of with a sweet room that was very comfortable.

Lovely location . Very cordial owner and mother. Responsive to a water heating issue. Beautiful grounds . Pretty good breakfast . Comfy beds . Great tub . Huge bathroom .

Grounds need maintenance. Old house that is being brought back to higher standards . tight roads departing but that is Sintra.

In wunderschöner ruhige Lage ca. 10 Gehminuten von Sintra liegt das Hotel. Das junge Personal ist sehr bemüht aber ausbaufähig. Der Frühstücksraum nett, das Frühstück okay - nicht übertrieben. Dafür ist der Garten und Zierteich sehr entspannend, wenn auch etwas Pflege nicht schaden würde.

Das Badezimmer bzw. der Abfluss darunter stinkt leider und die Betten wurden zu unserer Überraschung auch nicht gemacht. - schade, denn ohne diesen Mängel wäre es ein echter Geheimtipp. Noch eines: Wenn man mit einem "full size" SUV anreist (X5, Range Rover oder ähnlichem) sollte man gut Autofahren können, die Einfahrt zum Hotelparkplatz ist geschätzte 2,15 breit max 2,25. Fiat 500 geht super ;-)

The hotel is just what we wanted....small, away from the main town area. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who went out of his way to assist us and show us the property and facilities. The rooms were lovely, roomy and individual and we wish the owners every success with this developing venture.

Breakfast was amazing!! Very good and fresh fruit!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They accommodated all of our requests.

No screen on the window. (Or AC). I am allergic to mosquitos and have huge itchy whelps all over me today.

Very noisy. Building is old and not insulated. Staff not always there when you need them. Went down to parking, nobody there, waited 15 minutes, climb up again, found someone to open the gate. Should not happen. Stad should know when people leave.

Our stay at Quinta dos Lobos was one of the most beautiful and special stays that I have experienced. The property is beautiful with a huge, stunning garden and a fantastic history that the owners took the time for us to tell and show us around. The location so close to the city centre and Quinta da Regaleira was also a big advantage. The room was nice and clean and seemed to have a a lot of authentic details. I could say many, many great things and highly recommend staying here when visiting Sintra. The parking also was a big advantage.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. It's a 10 minute walk from Quinta da Regaleira and then another 5 minutes into town, but it feels absolutely removed from the rest of Sintra -- your own little slice of heaven away from all the other tourists! The room was beautiful and well-equipped, and the garden is just incredible.

There's not much food in the direct vicinity of the hotel, so it would be a nice touch if they put out some kind of light afternoon snack. Beyond that, truly no complaints!

5* Location. Amazing garden. Truly enchanted. 🧚🏻‍♀️ Lovely hotel with an attentive owner who couldn’t do enough to keep us happy. Free room upgrade just because a better room was available - how special is that?!

I wish there was as air con in the room. Although, Sintra has a microclimate so it’s not too hot.

The quinta is located in a georgeous garden with lots to discover, a little bit outside Sintra so it is very tranquil and silent during the night. The room was nicely decorated, the main area is simply beautiful with lots of colors, staff are super friendly and you can see that they put a lot of love into the house. This has lots of potential and will become even more beautiful when they renovate the rest of the estate. Also there is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset over the ocean.

Breakfast was really small and there was no variation. Also my room (01) was facing the outer entrance, so I had to keep one window shut, otherwise everybody could see into my room. And getting there requires you to walk at least 15 min from the town or drive by car, which is complicated due to the traffic.

Older property with lots of charm, plenty of indoor and outdoor common areas. We liked being a 25-minute walk to the train station, even closer to Sintra sites, shops/restaurants, and excellent mountain biking trails.

Minor inconvenience = we had to keep bathroom door to room closed to avoid off-smells coming from shower, to be expected in older properties. No fault of hotel but driving in/through Sintra is a challenge, navigate very carefully!

amazing location, everything is so green like in the middle of the jungle. peacocks walking by and joining you during breakfast. people are super friendly and nice, you feel yourself like at home

it’s not about property, but the restaurant (?) nearby. this place had a life concert on Saturday (stupid loud medieval music) till midnight. and really rude people work in this restaurant (?)
