Michael & Sylvia are wonderful hosts - they were very hospitable & welcoming. We found the accomodation very cosy & comfortable. They supplied beautiful homemade jams & granola for the morning. A perfect space for a night or two in Trentham.

Michael and Sylvia were the most hospitable and most generous people I've come to meet. They were extremely friendly and respectful of the space provided. The house is absolutely stunning and you can tell how much care and love they've put into cultivating a welcoming stay. I could not recommend staying at a'meadow enough and wish I could have stayed longer to get to know them better, but unfortunately had to scurry off early in the morning.

Everything! Sylvia and Michael are lovely charming witty hosts who were warm and welcoming. The place was beautifully setup, clean, spacious, comfortable. Sylvia had stocked the pantry and fridge with her home made butter, jams and poached pears and apricots. Michael treated us to an impromptu meet with kangaroos. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this to everyone.

Michael and Sylvia are lovely welcoming hosts and the "guest wing" with its own entrance was very comfortable. Breakfast provisions are generous - choice of mueslis, stewed fruits and yogurts, toast and home made jams, pod coffee and teas.

I am not a great fan of pod coffee but instant is worse - maybe add a plunger and ground coffee option?

the bed was not comfortable. feels like it’s 10 years old lumpy and with pointy bits sticking out. the neighbours are way too close. no peace until after 11pm. not what we’d expected.

Location was walking distance to town. Very clean.

The accommodation was really clean and I like how big the bathroom is. It had all the necessities including Netflix. I like the separate entrance.

Sylvia and Michael are the quintessential hosts; very welcoming and ready to offer information about the Trentham area while also allowing privacy. The accommodation itself is compact but perfect with everything required for a comfortable stay including quality linen on the comfortable bed and a spacious, well equipped bathroom. The breakfast supplied was a perfect start to the day. We would recommend a stay with Sylvia and Michael if you’re in the area!

A'meadow was more than l hoped for. Exceedingly more than the comfortable bed, the private sitting room with kitchenette and the private bathroom that sparkled. It's the quality fittings, linen & towels. The lush decor. For breakfast it was the indulgent homemade preserves, quality bread, homemade poached fruits, yoghurt, muesli (including a gluten free option) a good selection of tea and coffee. Many thoughtful touches throughout. Spotlessly clean. Lovely gardens to enjoy. All of this is fantastic but it is Sylvia and Michael's warm and welcoming hospitality that underpins a stay at a'meadow. Sylvia and Michael are both highly knowledgeable and happy to provide suggestions whether that be for dining out or sight seeing. They are available to assist when needed. A'meadow is in a good location. Thank you to Sylvia and Michael.

Breakfast was very good indeed--a choice of 3 cereals, yoghurt, delicious home preserves and compotes, coffee machine and good selection of teas. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The presentation of the property was magnificent and the quality of all the accoutrements very high. Location on the edge of town was great---quiet, bucolic but close to facilities. Separate entrance a bonus.
