Whilst you couldn’t fault the friendly staff, the room I stayed in… • If you like beds with mattresses made of concrete, this is the place for you! If you actually want to wake up refreshed and without severe backache, I’d choose another hotel. • Whilst the room was clean, the furniture was damaged and looked very tired round the edges and up close. • The blackout curtains would have worked better if they’d had been on a runner with a curtain string. The last couple of inches were never going to close. • To be fair, out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, the air con controls actually did work and it was efficient. • I was a bit surprised having paid up front in full on hotels.com, to have then had to pay a £50 (refundable) fee on arrival. This has put me off staying in Hilton hotels in future. • Advertising room service - great, I was looking forward to this. The small print? £5.00 tray charge. So, no, I didn’t order room service. • Down in the bar, the drinks were over priced too. A Corona Cero = £5. In any supermarket you can buy a pack of 4 for that price. • Excellent location for train station… but if trains and guard whistles aren’t your thing, and you want absolute peace and better double glazing… find a different hotel and further away.

The staff were very nice, and coped well with the problems caused the worldwide Microsoft bug. The only problem was with the AirCon system which couldnt be switched off or controlled, but did anyhow keep the room very cool.

Good location , friendly staff and clean rooms.

Great hotel and location. Good rooms, really good breakfast, lots of choice. Only issue is the car park, very very tight turns and hard to exit if you have a big car.

Great hotel online downside is difficult to get into car park. Especially when a van is partial blocking the entrance.

Good location for central leeds. Carpark is a bonus but it is a carpark for the brave. Hotel isn’t new but it’s still pretty nice. No complaints

One of the two lifts was broken which wasn’t great. The air con didn’t work and the tv was was dark

Very handy for Leeds station, but you have to take a slight detour because of the building site at the Station

Hotel was fine but with reception being on the 3rd floor I felt very vulnerable waiting in the foyer for the lift. Extremely comfortable bed.

Should of been reflected in nightly rate lots off upgrade work , meet at entrance by homeless not that that bothered me

Great stay at the Hilton. Staff super friendly and efficient. Particular thanks to Cat at reception, who sorted out some printing for me and was most helpful. Hotel is being renovated but no impact on the peacefulness of the stay. Bed comfortable, room clean and spacious. Only wish there was a fridge in the room, extra light above the mirror in the bathroom and windows could be opened a crack. Food at the restaurant was much better than this type of hotels usually have and good spread at breakfast. Would stay again!

Nice stay. Very conveniently situated next to train station. Some refurbishment going on in hotel but didn't effect us. Bit of a drainage smell in reception area, but didn't waft throughout the hotel. Would stay again.

Car park way to tight i scratched my car going down to the second floor as its way to tight i rang hotel they said you park at your own risk and now this stay has cost me £800 to fix my car i will not be staying here again staff didnt seem to care i rang they said i will get manager to ring me back still waiting for a phone call id upload image of car but i cant do that on here shame really people dont park in car park go somewhere else for parking

Amazing location, excellent customer service and quality as expected with Hilton. Was a bit of a building site in reception but I understand that this is necessary to improve and grow the business.

Good location, staff very helpful, food was good, car park is truly awful. Unless its a Fiat 500 dont bring your car, car park is far too small and access is very tight, 2 cars hit the walls while we left, but the hotel is next to Leeds Railway Station

The hotel is well located, close to the train station and the city centre. The area doesn’t look safe but I had no trouble. There were dirty towels, with make up from the previous customer. I also saw a face towel forgotten in the breakfast area under the curtains. The whole hotel needs a renovation, a big one and not patches. The reception is in the third floor, you need to take the stairs or wait for the only one elevator servicing the ground floor. The breakfast serviced hard croissants, not frozen, hard. Maybe from the day before. Toilet flush didn’t work well and the extractor made a lot of noise, and it didn’t stop.

Room was nice, clean spacious Good location, around 10 min walk from city centre Very good breackfast would defo recommend purchasing this. The only downside was the first floor when you walk in is very smelly. This smell did not travel up to the 3rd floor where the reception and resturant are and did not travel up to the bedrooms. Decent sized gym , lots of equipment can pretty much do any excercise.

Convenient close to station but advise would have helped how to get to the hotel with all the road works going on at the moment. Very good breakfast buffet. Lighting in the bathroom very dim, impossible to put makeup on. Never seen so much water when flushing the toilet, this should really be improved urgently. Overall a great hotel and we will be back.

Truly disgusting odour of sewage as you enter the hotel and in the lobby area. Lights did not work in room. Shower did not work in room and was cold water only! The experience was poor!

Great Hotel - STAFF excellent - 5 stars Breakfast excellent - Very clean. Lots of parking but the turning circle between the floors is very tight. Would recommend this hotel short walk to into the main town.

Rooms freezing staff rude was a que to complain each morning no information the heating didn’t work they ran out of electric heaters to give out absolutely decussating the worst Hilton I’ve stayed at needs condemned

Very average standard of rooms. Price for one night was over £200! Understand that may have been driven by football match but not a very nice room for the price
