Overall, the property is in excellent condition and we have stayed there many times over the past 15 years. Some of the rooms have items that need an upgrade (badly scratched furniture, refrigerators, etc). The hallways could have been cleaner (linen removal, trash pickup), although the staff did their best to address this. Overall, though, this hotel’s location, layout, amenities, and Porter’s Restaurant make it an excellent choice for the Metro East area.

Check In went quickly, asked for two keys and was provided with two, however one was not keyed to the room. The next morning, took a shower, turning the know to H for hot water. The water was cold. It started to warm up and when I had it go through the shower head, it became cold again. When I told the front desk upon check out, they were apologetic and offered compensation, however I declined. They did say they would look into the issue. Unsure if it was my user error or if something else was going on. The toom itself has some stains by the ac unit.

Couldn't get water from faucet of bathtub for shower. Finally got enough for minimum flow shower. I stayed in room 107 very very noisy with elevator noise. One desk clerk told me no rooms I got on Expedia and they had rooms and I booked it and stayed one night. Not a good experience!

Could not get shower to work so called and was informed that sometimes you have to pull real hard to get it to work. I feel the price you pay you should not have to fight to take a shower in the morning. Shower was a handicap shower and there would be no way a handicap person could get the shower to work. Was told next time you just need to call the front desk and have someone come down to room.

Our room was a bit dated and worn. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer any type of free breakfast. A continental breakfast was $12 and a regular breakfast was $16. We chose to go out for breakfast.

Wow! The staff is par excellence! Very friendly and accommodating! The furniture and tubs in rooms are very old, but clean. The mattress was new and super comfy! Fabulous stay! We’ll go back next year.

eThe room was okay little outdated and there were not enough electrical outlets the way they had everything plugged in, we knew one spark and the place was going to go up in flames. Also my husband left a pair of tennis shoes ( not the hotel fault) called the hotel and they transferred me to the housekeeping dept. left msg and ad of yet have not heard back from anyone!!

In the morning after feeling congested found damp mold in and under the refrigerator
The vynl covered head boards were shedding their surface and I awoke with flakes of vinyl sheeting on my pillows and bedding
The power plugs and outlets at the desk area were damaged and not working/connected.

Hallways and elevator are literally set to 80 degrees. Pool was closed due to maintenance. The lamp in between the beds was broken with exposed wires hanging out. The mini fridge appeared as if someone had thrown it off of a truck on the interstate and then placed into the room.

I was compelled to have a copy of my driver license to give to the Hotel at check in, some sort of city ordnance, I ask to have the copy destroyed when I checked out. I was told no, that the copy must be kept on file. If I would have known that prior to check in, I would have never stayed there. They have no clue who will have access to my information, it could be compromised

This was a terrible place to stay. Way over-priced, the sink didn't drain, the shower didn't turn on, the toilet and mini fridge were covered in scratches. The carpet felt very dirty, I didn't want to take my shoes off. And the sheets made me feel extremely itchy. We left at 4am because we couldn't stand it and the manager said that they could credit us $20 for the shower and that was it.
