My mom and I stayed at this hotel. We had an excellent experience here. The rooms are clean and all of the employees are absolutely helpful and wonderful. The hotel has a driver named Ravi Kant who took us to all of the best places. We felt very safe with him, and I would definitely recommend him as a driver. This hotel has a really great spa and it’s in a good location. We would never stay anywhere else in New Delhi other than here. I definitely recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Thank you to everyone for making this a great trip for me and my mom.

I have been staying at the Taj for the last 10 years but my experience this time was not that great Check-in: There was a huge Que at the time of Check-in and nobody managed the Queue. People would just cut the line and get into check-in and the staff never bothered to sign in the guests who were waiting in the Queue Room - The room was very clean and spacious Room Service - This was disappointing, be it in-room dining, Laundry, or house-keeping anything that you requested had to be followed up with 2-3 reminders Check Out - This was smooth and fast Unfortunately, one of my favorite properties in Delhi is losing out on its charm because of its service.

Beautiful place and excellent service.

I realy enjoyed staying with my family but most of all I enjoyed the spa. It very relaxing both the facial with Savita and the foot massage.

My stay was extremely disappointed for the first time at taj. The food at capital kitchen was extremely bad it was my birthday I was there with my friend extremely disheartened with the customer service. It was more like a three star property. Nobody was empathetic. Attached are the pictures of the washroom such dirty water in bath tub cominv couldn’t even take a shower properly

All was well and good

We had very high expectations about ending our trip to India by staying at the Taj Palace. The YouTubers were very complementary. To put things into context… we had stayed at the Leela Palace as well as the Oberoi prior to checking into the Taj Palace. Our family had reserved two suites. Upon entering into the hotel.. you are hit by a very strong infuser fragrance. Check in required a long wait with little to no accommodations. Unlike the other hotels we checked into in India, no one greeted you in reception, you were left to hang about for a free agent. After over thirty minutes we finally made it to the check in point. As we got off the elevator’s to our rooms, we were literally over taken with a heavy caustic chemical smell that permeated the halls and entered into the rooms. The smell was so overpowering… that some of us developed headaches. The staff at their main restaurant was understaffed and clueless as to basic service 101…. We had to repeatedly ask for flatware and napkins, water and plates., one could literally get better service at a Sizzler or Dennys restaurant. For a hotel that claims to be in the same tier as an Oberoi or a Leela palace, they fell very short of a five star hotel. Closer to a 2.5-3 star facility. Our family will never stay at this hotel again. Save your time and book a stay at the Oberoi or Leela Palace.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff! Loved the rooms and enjoyed my stay! Excellent WiFi which is always a bonus! Had a massage at the spa which was equally enjoyable

The staff here are very thoughtful. The concierge here planned a well organized trip to Taj Mahal with a guide and packed breakfast for the ride. Later when my daughter was sick they personally came in and gave a get well card and flowers. The room service was excellent and arranged for a nice aromatic bubble bath for children. Overall very impressed with the hotel and service

A simply beautiful property at a great price

Service is excellent and staff are well trained. Breakfast is also pretty good though not to the standard of some other five star hotels in Delhi. Just be careful which room you choose. Some of the older rooms are in poor shape with stained carpets and awful bathrooms. But the renovated rooms are excellent and comfortable. We were initially booked into an older room but the staff moved us to a newer floor once we pointed out the flaws. The lobby has the smell of cheap air freshener which is well below the standard of a property such as this. The swimming pool and gardens are lovely though, and full credit to all the staff for their excellent hospitality which more than made up for the initial bad experience with the room and the smell of the lobby.
