Directly across the street from the train station, this welcoming little hotel is well situated in a highly walkable little city.
The staff arranged for a taxi to take us to and return us from the nearby Vimy memorial site.
Seek out Chez Bichette a short walk away. EXCELLENT food at a charming little restaurant.

The hotel was well located, a quick walk to the Grand Place. The desk clerk was very helpful in booking us a restaurant on a Monday when most things were closed. Good value and right across the street from the train station.

hotel was very clean. My room was on third floor and I have a problem to connect to Internet. I did not have internet at all. I think this hotel is to expensive for service they provide.

Superbe batiment! Chambres refaites a neuf, szns moquette au sol! Chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable. Environnement calme malgré la gare juste en face! Repas et petit dej très corrects. Je recommande

Have stayed many times at the Moderne. Restaurants are close at hand and if you don't want to drive Arras station is opposite. Half an hour to the Somme battlefields and only 8euros on the toll road. I highly recommend it if you are visiting the battlefields. I shall be returning. JM

Fair hotel. A small room and no aircon were the drawbacks. The hotel is near Arras station and there is train and traffic noise. Otherwise, a fair hotel at a fair price.

Really nice room. Hotel is in a convenient location, with easy and cheap parking outside. Local area is typical for train stations - a bit grubby, but with lots of places to eat. Close to attractions.

Centrally located hotel opposite the station. The rooms are a bit tired and sparsely furnished, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.

Breaky had lots of choices and was fresh. Breaky area was large and bright.
Location was meters away from train station and short walk to square.

Good value - afternoon check in staff was good, the lady in the AM was a bag. There is no morning coffee unless you paid for breakfast - I was told to find it elsewhere :(. Close to the train station.

It was a great place to stay. Right across the road from the train station and plenty of places to eat nearby.

When we arrived the staff helped us check in, booked a taxi for the next day, and gave us directions to the square so we could find a nice place to eat. Staff could not have been more helpful or friendly!

Stayed for two nights in September. The the hotel is conveniently located by the train station and within close proximity to multiple shops and restaurants and Grand Place (town square).
Rooms were small of course but it's hotel in Europe so you have to expect that. Also rooms are not very sound proof. Again I think it can be expected but it is something to be aware of. I normally sleep with earplugs anyway.
Staff was friendly and they even had a lift so there was no need to haul giant suitcases up 5 flights of stairs! Lol
I would recommend staying here.

Very pleasant hotel, clean room, good beds, friendly staff. Could have used a fan in the room as it was a very warm day during my stay and tough to cool my room down; only issue I had. Everything else was good; very good buffet breakfast in the morning at reasonable cost. Great location; close to town centre and just across from the train station.
