Excellent hotel; I highly recomend it. Right next to a Target and very close to the Dadeland Mall. I want to specially mention the very kind recepcionista; Havana! She was amazing. The hotel is very lucky to have her.

A bit tricky to get to because of all the construction work around although manageable. Nice and cozy room. Bed, pillows, AC and shower were great. Coral Gables area is still so nice.

Getting to property was difficult - GPS directions were off. Property itself felt clean but old. Old plumbing, old carpet, old windows. Stay was safe and acceptable, but wouldn’t chose this one again.

No frills including optional room cleaning

Very comfortable beds and convenient location, good price and breakfast offered. My only complaint, as is with many hotels, the floors feel a bit sticky so I never want to be barefoot. Other than that, very pleasant stay. This was my second time there and I would stay again.

This hotel was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at hundreds. There are too many words to describe the experience but the main reason is the entire building including the rooms have an overwhelming musty/moldy smell that is potentially dangerous and the board of health needs to close this place now. I’m glad I received a refund at least. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Loved our stay at this hotel. I’ve been here before and knew it was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay.

We booked a room because of a power outage at our home. Long day and very tired, just wanted a comfortable room with a/c. The room was not entirely clean. The more we settled in the more we noticed. Dirty floorboards, smudged walls, a wet spot on the carpet in front of the fridge. There was gunk on the tiled entryway like it wasn’t mopped. The bathroom was dusty and the shower grout had mold. There was hair on the back of the toilet and floor. The shelves for towels was covered in a layer of dust. The room smelled a bit musty and after turning down the temp the a/c barely put out cool air. We were exhausted, but ended up leaving around 3 am. The hallway carpets were dirty, the elevator areas were dirty and everything just looked rundown. I spoke to the front desk and they told me a manager would reach out and we’ve had no follow up.

The hotel didn’t have the room I paid for. I rented a room with two Queen beds, and they gave me a room with one king bed. The hotel said it was an Expedia mistake, but at the same time, the hotel website had double queen bed rooms available for booking.

I have always had good experiences with the Hampton inn and the one in Miami Dadeland exceeded my expectations. The hotel is updated, clean, free parking, free breakfast and it's a good breakfast. The staff was friendly, professional and made check in easy. The hotel is centrally located so it is easy to get to Coral Gables, South Miami or Pinecrest by car or uber fairly quickly. The rooms were immaculate the beds comfortable, and the air conditioner was perfect. Overall, I would say that it was a great experience, and I would stay there again.

Ask for a recliner because i am here for breast cancer surgery an staying another night. Guy said he has nothing like that. I think he just didn't want to change my room...bed was difficult to get in an out of.

For the price which includes breakfast and WiFi - it’s a good deal. Don’t expect bells and whistles but for price I give it 4 stars. Comfy and clean. 5 mins away from Dadeland mall and a walk to Target was a plus

Our stay was great. The staff are wonderful

We enjoyed our stay while bringing our son to UMiami’s new student move-in and family orientation. It was wonderful to have a delicious breakfast available with many options each day, as that was one less thing to coordinate. Target and Best Buy were in walking distance, which was perfect for us, as we’d flown to the area and needed to purchase school and dorm essentials. The staff was warm and friendly, very accommodating. Those working the kitchen and keeping the breakfast stocked and dining room clean were amazing. They worked very hard, yet were always kind and helpful with the many interruptions they received. It was a packed room each day we were there, mostly with families heading to The U. We will gladly return in the future. One important recommendation: add a bathmat or tub stickers to prevent slips. My husband has balance issues and nearly fell in the shower twice.

Excellent for the money. Easy location , across from Target and Metro stop. Quiet. Breakfast was good.

Hampton Inn was great! It’s conveniently located near UMiami, and I was able to ship some packages for my son’s dorm move-in to the hotel, since we were flying in.

Hotel was conveniently located. Rooms were clean and very well stocked. Breakfast was excellent as always. Front desk check in was fast. Check out equally fast and easy. Bedding was very comfortable. AC was cold.

Glad to see the property was undergoing some renovations, it does need a facelift. But it was very clean. The breakfast was great, definitely a perk for staying here. So conveniently located to shopping venues! Would stay here again.
