We stayed in a two room suite for a weekend. It was spacious and there is a full size fridge/freezer in the kitchenette with a microwave, cook top, dishwasher, and kitchen supplies (plates, glasses, cookware, utensils, etc.). Our room was adequately clean, some signs of aging which is expected for an older hotel. Polite staff. Good location and close to restaurants, entertainment, etc. They put a hold of $100 for incidentals but this was taken off at checkout. No complaints.

Trash was piled up around a trash can at the entrance to the hotel when we arrived, which was around 2:00 PM. The trash was still there the next day around 11:00 AM. Also, there was a busted glass just beside the entrance door. Inside was clean.

The property was dirty, moldy, it stank, and the staff suggested that i allow my premie babies to sleep on the floor since they didn’t have pack and plays even though we were told they did. I would never suggest someone stay at this property as it is unsafe. Because I had babies I had to leave early and was only offered a $60 credit to my account for the inconvenience. The hotel was sorry and Expedia was even more sorry for their response to the issues that we had during our stay.

The TV in the living space did not work. The bathroom sink was broken and it didn't allow for the water to drain. The carpet was not even vacuumed, there were crumbs of things all over the place. Was not happy with the stay at all.

The pool was FREEZING. I specifically plan trips and hotels with indoor pools because I'm traveling with 3 children that love to swim. It is a nice option to allow them to unwind in the evenings. We went to the pool both mornings and nights of our stay and it was NEVER up to a temperature that could allow us to enter the water. I told the front desk each time and they "reassured" me that maintenance would get the water warm. That did not happen for the duration of our stay.

Our room was nice and roomy. The breakfast we received was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We had the pool to ourselves but it was on the cooler side. Even the other guests were friendly. Great stay!

The staff were all very friendly and responsive. However, when we entered our room, we could automatically see that the floors were not clean. There were crumbs everywhere. In general, the place needs a deep cleaning, and some things are in need of repair. For instance, the shower curtain was not attached properly. There were also some wires hanging below the heating and cooling Element in the bedroom. The fitness room is well appointed, including a peloton bike, but there was a strange odor in there that reminded me of cat pee. The provided breakfast was extensive and the staff keeping that area stocked and clean were doing a great job. Overall a deep cleaning, a fresh coat of paint, and better cleaning in between guests would make this hotel stay perfect.

Extremely disappointed. Stayed here for my daughters birthday. Staff was extremely rude. They didn't have our rooms ready until 7pm and one of the rooms they gave us was already occupied. I will never stay here again.

This used to be our go-to hotel when visiting Columbus, but it's been a few years since we've last stayed. Previously we were impressed with the updates, cleanliness and location. Now the only highlight is the location. Our room had a burnt out light in the sink area so the only light source was the mirror. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work so smells linger and the it gets very muggy when showering with the door closed. We also found some missed cleaning opportunities (Bobby pin on the floor behind the bathroom door, toothpaste tube next to the vanity on the floor). Both my husband and I disliked the pillows quite a bit, but the mattress was ok. For the price, I think we could find a better option next time.

The staff were all very nice, courteous and helpful. The room was a nice size and I like the kitchenette and adjustable table/desk.
Main complaints:
1. The bed mattress is in poor condition with a bit depression on the side that apparently most people sleep on (side towards the bathroom).
2. The gym had a bad and dank smell. One reason is because there is no air circulation and the windows don't open.
3. As mentioned in #2: the windows in the room, like the one in the gym, don't open at all. This makes the rooms kind of stuffy if you don't want to run the fan. The fan itself is rather noisy, so I turned everything off at night and without the ability to open the window a crack, the air is still and kind of stale.
Otherwise, a pleasant place to stay.

For the last several years while visiting the Westerville area I stayed at another property but was unable to get the best deal there. This being my first time with Homewood Suites I was extremely impressed! The rooms were fabulous, clean & neat, full kitchens, free full breakfasts, and beautiful accomodations. This will be my go to hotel from now on.

I only stayed for a few days. The room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to check and out. Breakfast was a nice treat to help get the day started. Close to where every was staying for a wedding.

Stay was good. TV was damaged and did not work well. Kept going light and dark. Big stain on sheer curtain. Other than that it had everything we needed. Front desk prople where pleasant and helpful.
