Quiet and calm place with nice sea view. Really clean. Staff very helpful and nice. Pool water too cold. Lights in the house need to be renewed. No air conditioning, a little inconvenient for the comfort in summer nights. Very bad sound of TV set. A little expensive for the quality of the accommodation.

Wonderful place: the view in front of the apartments is fantastic. Very good location, 15 min drive to Lagos. The place and the apartments are not luxurious but well maintained and very clean.

The view we had was STUNNING! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the fresh bread every morning was such a treat! The parking situation was not great, as it was a bit of a trek each way to our room from the car.

Pest control is a big problem. Too many bugs pests were there. Very unpleasant, distured.

The property has amazing views of the sea. It’s a 20 minute walk to Luz. You definitely need a car if you want to go anywhere. The breakfast was disappointing for 4 star rated property. The service wasn’t good. I waited 1/2 hour for a plate of scrambled eggs and ended up leaving to meet my next charter. The accommodations are dated and in need of a remodel. Pool was nice.

Our apartment had a wonderful ocean view. Everything was clean and organized. They drop off complimentary fresh bread each morning which is nice. They do not have AC, however for us it was cooler at night and very windy so it wasn't a problem. Overall, a very nice area to stay.

It was all about the scenic views. Gorgeous. The resort was lovely but the studio apartments need some updating. However we did not expect luxury...they were clean, staff was very helpful and we had privacy as we sat out on our patio looking at the cliffs and ocean. Loved it. However furniture was very uncomfortable and since we were there two weeks it was an issue. Beds are very hard and chairs too uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time.

What a gem of a find just outside Lagos. Peaceful location with well-appointed, light, airy accommodation. Even though we didn’t book and arrive until late evening we were provided with a welcome breakfast pack. Friendly helpful staff😊

Great stay, the swimming pool and sea views were amazing!! i didnt expect it to be so nice! sitting on the balcony in the morning overlooking the well kept gardens, swimming pool and sea views was a highlight on my stay. good size clean bungalow, felt very relaxed and would definitely stay again for longer.

It’s only when you get there you realize how remote the place is, set in ugly scrubland pockmarked with decaying abandoned building sites and great view of a wind farm because the region is incessantly WINDY. Seriously. Property is really spread out - you need a car to drive to its pool: a pool that is completely exposed to the elements and freezing due to the wind. They give you a ‘welcome’ pack at check in: one teabag, one sachet of coffee, one pot of yoghurt, etc. All those single items when more than one person is checking in. Combined with staff attitude, it just felt incredibly stingy rather than welcoming. They insisted on a 20 euro deposit for threadbare beach towels, the WiFi is not available in the rooms, you have to go to the atmospherically dead reception (not even music). And don’t ask for anything - we asked to use their phone to call a toll free number regarding personal stuff at home (our own phones weren’t working) and the man at the desk was reluctant and initially refused outright! It’s not s resort, it’s not a hotel - we have no idea what it is or how to describe it. We have been all over the world, but this place was weird: beaten up, ugly, silent (except for nonstop howling wind), sullen. Make sure you do thorough research that you know what you are getting into if you decide to come to Algarve generally and here in particular.

This was a bad experience for us. The check-in desk closes at 10 pm, and we arrived after that time due to traffic delays. When trying to find the check in/reception, we got lost within the property as there were no clear directions on how to get to it on the website. After about an hour of searching, including asking other guests late at night where the reception was, we found it.....they had left us our key and a map to our unit. There was no parking near by our unit, and it was pitch black on the property. We had to carry our bags across the property on the stone/rock road, for almost a mile before we got to our unit. They state there is wifi but thats only in the clubhouse and pool area, not in the unity. Overall, just a bad experience with poor communication from the resort. Wouldnt stay here ever again.

Do not go there for golf! No golfcourse is build att all! The house is very nice but poorly furnisht. Felt like it was a bit forgotten. The poolarea is far away from the house and the reception. Resturang was bad but personal is nice. Please do somthing about this place!

Good value maid service everyday worth taking a second look at

Definitely need a car to get here as it's a ways from the town, shops, and restaurants. Google maps kept trying to direct me to the pool area that was deserted and is a long way from where you check in to the guest cottages. I'd been driving around throughout the complex without knowing it as they looked like private homes and was very frustrated as I knew check in ended at 8 pm and it was about 7:30. Finally saw some nice guests near the pool who gave me directions. The check in area looked like a clubhouse/sales office for the resort, the employee gave me a rather brief introduction to my casita and seemed to be in a hurry to go home. Part of the reason I booked was to have a kitchen and this kitchen was well equipped but I never used the oven or range as I didn't know how to work it. It would've helped if she stayed long enough to show me around more as well as how to use the radiators in the rooms as it was cool enough to use them. On the plus side, a fresh loaf of bread is delivered daily, they left a welcome package of eggs, milk, instant coffee, bread, and the grounds are lovely. On the minus side, several light bulbs were out, the lamps in the bedroom were missing shades, the mattress was poor and the mattress cover was in the closet requiring me to make up the bed, and a mop and bucket were visible by the front door. Would be good for a couple or small family with a car that want to get away from the crowds, have a kitchen and know how to use Portuguese appliances.

Great views. Great welcome food

this is our third time at this hotel and we love the location, great walking trails right at your door step and all you can see is the bluffs and ocean what more do you want. You can just enjoy the peaceful location, great staff and friendly people just about everywhere you go. This is self catering but there is a snack bar and at the main office area a restaurant. You do have a fair walk uphill to the office area approx. 10 minutes, so if you are not able to walk you will need a car. You can just sit on your porch and watch the fishing boats and at night the stars are brilliant, in the spring and fall the pool is a little cool for my liking.

The place is awesome. Its a good apartment for the value I paid. The only problem is that the hotel is far from almost everything including suparmarket. If you don't hire a car for the trip, Taxi trip will cost a lot of money. There's no frequent public transport in the area either.

The resort is located on wonderful cliffs over the sea - a very peaceful and inspiring place. Service was perfect, ever present though very discrete: you can find hot bread at the door every morning, the house cleaned while you are away and a really children friendly restaurant.

Very basic but large one bed apartment. Last minute booking and only accommodation we could find in Burgau/Luz area/. It was chilly at night but we couldn't use blankets stored in wardrobe because of dreadful damp smell. Obviously not used or laundered in a long time. Apartment clean but sewerage smell in bathroom - which no amount of running taps got rid of. Communal pool area, pleasant, clean and large. Poolside cafeteria closed on both occasions we used pool. We cut our stay short.

It was 1 hour from the beach. The furniture is old. The equipment for kitchen is new. The advise - don't go here.

Great place, this is our second visit and we love the location away from all the bars and nightlife, we come here for the long peaceful walks along the bluffs which are virtually right outside your front door. If you are a night owl with no car then this is not the place for you.

Little bit far and no beach. Awkward resort to walk around. Huge rooms and good office staff are a bonus.
