Rooms need updating especially bathroom. Breakfast had no selection...

The room was comfortable for the most part, but the cleanliness of was not good at all. The shower curtains were disgusting, molded, stained, gross. Everything was old, paint was chipping off everywhere. The bed linen looked cleaned but the comforter was dirty. Their continental breakfast was also very disappointing, giving us very few options and no hot food. We were grateful that we had a short stay there.

We would not stay here again. The check-in should have taken less than five minutes, because I checked in online and paid online, it took fifteen minutes and we were the only people at the counter. The hotel is old and needs to be updated. The breakfast room was not clean!

Looks like an old Wyndham property that badly needs worn fixtures updated. Carpet, bed, and even pillows were pretty good and clean. Very old flat screen TV with a picture that uses about half the screen area with low-D picture. Carpet and furniture pretty good actually. Walls ripped up and bathroom door jamb had been broken through at some point and never repaired. Sloppy painting with drips. Breakfast is a bare minimum, but coffee was good from the machine. Hallways smell of extremely strong lemon cleaner but not in room fortunately. Definitely stayed at far worse though this one not to the standard of major chains (which it is not).

Stay here often. Love the service, location and cleanliness of the rooms.

Only stayed for one night. Hotel is pretty run down. Expected more for the price!! Had NO hot water for our entire stay. Property refused to refund any portion of the cost of our stay. Breakfast was a joke. For sure would never stay here again.

One night stay. No coffee maker in room or luggage rack. Room was clean. No hot water for showering. Below basic for the price.

I took one star off because there was a very strong floral fragrance in the lobby and hallways. This is NOT good for those of us that have breathing difficulties ( such as asthma and COPD). Room was quiet and comfort.

My room had a heavy smell of ferbreeze.

Bed was very comfortable and the room and outside the room was very clean. Property is well kept.

This is a fine budget option compared to surrounding hotels. The room had all the necessary amenities. Decor and breakfast could be less institutional but they're in line with the room rate. Staff was nice.

Despite reading a few negative reviews, I found my room very clean and accommodating- the continental breakfast was very good and the staff was professional and friendly.

Could use King size pillows on King beds. Otherwise all good!

It definitely should not be rated exceptional. The staff was very nice but we didn’t see a single room that looked like the one in the photos. The first room we checked into was clean enough but I’ve never seen such old, beat-up sinks. The room was very dated. We asked for another room and were shown two more that were no better than the first room we were given. All of those rooms were on the second floor. Finally, we were offered one on the first floor which looked better. I hate to be critical but I think it is only fair that people know what to expect.

Looked for a budget friendly hotel in the area close to everything. Casco bay inn was the right last minute choice. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was provided, although we chose the Freeport cafe down the street. Much better than cereal, breads and juices.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The property appears to be newly painted. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable.

The property was very clean, management and staff were great. There was an incident with a guest screaming and slamming all kinds of things for over an hour late at night but that's not anything Casco staff can control.

When we arrived we were greeted by a young lady Sonni who was the desk clerk, she was courteous, pleasant and helpful with checking in. Our room was as described on the website. Room furnishings are fine, beds comfortable, complimentary breakfast was very good. We've been pleasantly surprised as we picked this spot at random.

The property was not great; it was not very clean (bedroom and bathroom) or modern, as displayed by the pictures. As other guests have pointed out, there was a very strong scent being emitted through the hallways, which was unpleasant. The breakfast was good, and the location was good for accessing the highway and nearby the Desert.

I received the wrong room after checking in. The next day I rebooked & the front desk receptionist was extremely rude! I told her I paid for another night & she dismissed what I said by saying I didn’t. The room had a loud mildew smell. On top of that, the heat never came on for the 2 nights I stayed, so I woke up sneezing heavy. I will never book Casco Bay again & I will tell my friends & work colleagues not to as well.

Average inn but the staffs are very nice.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C wasn’t overly loud, and the shower was great. I had some travel delays and they worked with me to make sure I could still check-in. My only suggestion would be to expand the breakfast choices a bit. I would stay here again.

I usually do not write reviews but wanted to save future travelers from staying here. The smell of urine and odors from the rugs could make you gag. When arriving I Clorox wipe down the room - the top of the toilet tank was caked with dirt - I gave up trying to clean. The furniture was disgusting - all beat up. The room was so dark I needed to ask for a lamp! The pictures on the Orbitz web site are not at all accurate- the rooms are so much worse! We have traveled to Maine for years and used this property under the previous owner - it was wonderful then. Needless to say we will not be staying there again. Maine tourism should review this place. The only consolation was we were staying one night. The check in person was pleasant.

The property is decent! Could use some updating!
