there is excellent area for walking in old town also very good cafe and restaurants around but hotel lobby compeletly needs renovation iwas in another Marriott,s hotel i had never seen sofa with torn leather! at lobby! already our room was so clean with no noise.

The room we had was spacious. The Staff was wonderful. Though exterior renovation is on going.

Hi, first time visited Quebec City and we were so happy with our stay at Marriott. it is very clean , nice place to stay , excellent area , walking distance to old town and most important very helpful and polite staff

They didn't have the room ready when we got. There ended up waiting fifteen minutes before I went to the room and it was after midnight

We attended Quebec City to celebrate both of my daughter’s birthdays. We arrived to the front entrance being under construction and was during a heavy rainfall. We were the only vehicle arriving at this time. Not only was their nobody available to assist us with bringing in the luggage, they had the maintenance guy power washing the front entrance carpet during a rainstorm right in front of the main doors. So while we are trying to bring in our luggage as a family of four during heavy rain, we got soaked by the rain due to having to wait for him to stop pressure washing with every piece of luggage to proceed past him into the hotel. We were tracking all the mud from the carpet on our new luggage and new shoes as well during this process. He could have very easily have done this elsewhere or off to the side as there was plenty of room and this was totally unacceptable. The hotel was extremely understaffed and very difficult to get assistance several times. Valet service was very slow and having to be reminded several times that we are still waiting for our vehicle. We were also charged for Wifi usage even though we are Marriott Bonvoy members and should Not have a wifi charge. They did not remove the charge either. We would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book in Quebec City. Even more so if looking for an authentic experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Downtown Marriot Quebec. The concierge services were amazing! They gave us wonderful recommendations and helped us book all of our activities during our stay.

Great location; very friendly staff; recognized my status immediately; great TV with streaming options. Discounted parking right across the street. It would have nice to have free breakfast and water in the room for the price.

Location and staff was excellent

The hotel is located in a great location. You csn walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Parking separated from hotel and bad conditions, wifi not included , they tried to charge me for restaurant when not Even went there, had to dispute twice so they remove the charges…

Overall excellent

We had a beautiful view, overlooking the ice rink and the downtown street.

The hotel itself is fine and the staff very friendly. However there is not enough staff in the bar/ restaurant area which impacted service. The chef had to serve food that he made. Our food was cold when we finally got it. This is marriotts mistake not the staff.

There was absolutely no place to open my suitcase. No suitcase holder. I had to lift it on and off the bed. The room was short on amenities. Hotel very nice.

Second floor room was too close to traffic. Proximity to historic areas and dining was great.

The location is excellent. However, the plaza in front of the hotel was a bit dirty and occupied with skate boarders, homeless people, and trash bin storage.

Room and bathroom very clean.

The front desk staff did an incredible job taking care of our booking issues . They were fantastic and we highly recommend this hotel!
