Bed bugs, and the sheets was nasty

Gross. Just absolutely disgusting. The room did have 3 microwaves in it for some reason but they were all gross too.

I did not stay at this hotel! The hotel was not in service due to Hurricane Beryl, I arrived and was told they reached out to the apps to cancel reservations.. I would appreciate if this transaction is cancelled and my card reimbursed. Tina Ybarra, 409-916-1504

Terrible experience. We are affected by the lack of electrical service in Houston after Hurricane Beryl, with high temperatures, desperate to find a place to rest after 3 nights without sleep. We traveled for 1 hour to this hotel to find that it was closed due to lack of electricity. How is it possible that they offer availability that does not exist and confirm the reservation. The gas we had left was gone on the round trip, 24 hours have passed and we couldn't get gas again. It is very frustrating that in the midst of the situation we are experiencing, these things happen.

Owner kept increasing charge when we paid cash. Then said we left room dirty when we cleaned it ourselves before...just scam wanting more money

Pictures are really different than what it actually looks like, I walked it and instantly regretted paying for this. I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in here.

This was the worst hotel I have EVER seen! It is in horrible filthy condition! When I complained about it and decided we were not going to stay there I was offered a $25 credit for another time. This is absolutely ridiculous! I cannot believe that Hotels.com would even put this pace on their website! I booked a single king bed and was told when we checked in that they did not have any available and we would have to take a room with two beds. There was a 2x4 randomly in the middle of the floor and an open exposed electric socket. There is also no pool as advertised. Then when I went to tell them we would not be staying there I was told that I booked a two bed room. They lied to me and said they did not change it, but clearly I booked a single king bed room, I have proof! I am extremely disappointed in this hotel and Hotels.com for not doing the right thing and giving a full refund! I will no longer be using Hotels.com!!!

When I was in the lobby we saw a cockroach. The amount we paid was not worth the room.

Our 1st room had an issue with the Bath Tub leaking and they moved us the next day.

Dirty, mold in bathroom, 3 random microwaves in the room, unfinished paint job. The pictures are fake and do not look like the actual room. 0/10 I really wish i could have gotten a refund honestly.

Holes in the bathroom wall, my niece got bit by something multiple times in her bed. Refrigerator did not work when asked to switch rooms was denied and had to wait over an hour for a replacement. Buckets under the ac to catch water.

Not only did the place have mold but the construction is poorly done. I brought my family here and had to go to Walmart to get product to clean the bathroom myself. Not only that but I requested for fresh sheets and the owners kept saying there were fresh sheets on the bed and then told me to wait I never received them so I got my own. The lady owner act so scared she locks the doors and makes you call in after hours like you know what type of establishment your running if you weren't so grimy and running a grimy business you wouldn't have to be scared

The owners are really nice and helpful , but you should not rent the room we stayed in. Unfortunately after paying 120$ for that night we had no choice but to stay because of the islands vacation crowd and prices but our room was horrid . We went to Walmart and bought our own sheets to cover the bed . The couch was definitely moldy. Room stunk of cigarettes and there was cigarette burns everywhere

Probably poorly maintained and very tattered and torn down. Smelled, floors extremely dirty, beds not nice! Couch was the worst! Did not see any bed bugs as others have, but don’t believe web. Details. Very small 32 inch tv’s almost no channels to watch, A/C definitely not great. Outside area has homeless sleeping in alley in back. No lobby to speak of and no breakfast of any kind, for 130 a nigh you could at least get a banana or orange, and hot coffee! Nope! Fridge was good! And pool was maintained and good! Cheap accommodation near the sea wall! They know it and exploit it and charge way too much for what you get! I’d stay away!

There was blood spots on the bed sheets. And bed bugs. Horrible staff. They didn’t want change the sheets unless I brought it to them. Or switch my room to a different one. They said they were booked. But there was only a few cars there the whole weekend.

The room was very dirty, the sheets and blankets were stained, we took a trip to Walmart to get our own blanket and sheets, the couch in the room was all stained and dirty. The towels were torn and dirty, the ad said jetted tub and it was no where close to a jetted tub. All in all i was very disappointed

We checked in, walked in the room and walked right out, rude front desk ppl wouldn't give me a refund. Were out $150.SMH!!!! Couch was stained and nasty, box spring was stained. It had a stale nasty smell, and so did the office! Stay away from here.

Extremely dirty. Stains of various kinds on couch and bedding. Obviously not cleaned in a long time. Quite a let down sadly.

We were sleepless overnight due to huge bed bug everywhere.

I was downgraded from a suite to a regular full sized room bc my dad was disabled and they wouldn’t give me the difference between the $147 and $54 bc they don’t have elevators or anything. They definitely do not clean there rooms we where put into 4 different rooms bc one was flooded one the tv didn’t work one one the ac didn’t work. Poor poor hotel it’s very very nasty they don’t mop or anything.

I’m pretty sure one of the two rooms that I stayed in had bedbugs. Probably number 206, but it could’ve been number 101. In addition to the fact that I had no television and no Wi-Fi for the first day of my stay. I reported it at 6 PM and was not moved to a room with a working tv until 4 PM the next day.

Very nice staff. Walk to beach.
