After arriving and finding the condition of the hotel and surrounding area to look like a warzone, we decided that we would not stay there and went to seek other accommodations. We were told that the hotel would confirm our cancellation and that I could get it back from Expedia. On 6/29/2024, I was informed by Expedia that the hotel management refused to approve the refund that we had asked and were promised. I am a Wyndom member as well as Marriot and Hilton (I travel for business)..I can assure you that Wyndom will be at the bottom of that list. They should jettison this property ASAP

Disgusting. Room was disgusting and the area held loud and unruly persons. Receptionist was helpful, but had problems with my refund bc i cancelled reservations.

Upon entering the room which was at the back of the building. I got settled, and tried to turn the tv on and saw there were no batteries. I put in two of my own Panasonic AA batteries in which I could see the tv was broken, not the first time staying here and not having the tv function. It was late in the night and men loitering in the starewell made it uncomfortable/intimidating for a woman to walk past again to go change rooms. Because I have been in a room at this location where the tv did not work i didn't think anything of it. Being from Canada, this has been an affordable hotel to stay at and I have been a guest numerous times via hotels.com. Yesterday I tried to book a room and was told I was banned from booking. It was quite obvious that the patron before my stay had broken it and removed the batteries. A shame that they won't have my business anymore.

There’s a lot of shopping nearby. Our room had a fridge and microwave but no comfortable chair or dresser. Some rooms are rented out weekly.

The staff was very friendly The hotel is older, but we expected that. The price was very low, so we didn’t expect anything fancy. I appreciated that there was no carpet in the room, I always feel that makes it cleaner. The only problem I found was hairs in the bed…I think they came off the bedspread. I inspected the bed as soon as we walked in, and did not see them…..but afterwards I did. The bedding and towels could use replacing …..but we just needed a place to sleep without spending much money, and it did provide what we needed.

There were no hold bars around or in the tub, therefore I could not take a bath or shower, the bed was too high there was no light near the table because i wanted to fill out an application for housing there was only light near the bed. there was equipment near entry door of office i almost tripped.

Smoke alarm chirping when arrived at room. Walls are thin, you could here people 2 rooms away. You get what you pay for with this facility. Awkward check in.

Overall experience I can say average. Need better cleaning of the room especially bedcovers and pillows so that it doesn't smell.

I only say limited dining because I need kosher food but there is Krispy Kreme that’s kosher. Not a big deal.

Awful staff. Absolute worst stay I’ve ever had. The front desk staff were disgraceful hospitality staff. From the manager down. Horrible. Terrible communication. No customer service at all. These people couldn’t watch my goldfish. If I had more time and characters, I’d expound. Racist. Called the police on me because they don’t speak good English. Incredibly subpar service. If I had two hands, I’d give them 4 thumbs down.
