Excellent rooms and staff

Lovely property just inside one of the gates . Great breakfast. Helpful staff. About 15-20 walk to most sights . Neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but it was weekend so not much open and maybe feels more safe when people are about.

Overall stayed was good. Check in staff was very helpful and friendly. He helped us to find late night restaurant. ( Italian restaurant nearby and food was excellent there! ) Room was little outdated but not bad. I would definitely recommend.

Loved this hotel before we even arrived! To begin with, their masterly "Before You Arrive" electronic brochure made me want to rearrange my trip so I could stay in Evora longer. A truly loving and affectionate introduction to their home city and region. Then I overloaded their customer service staff as I tried to arrange guides and restaurants in advance--prompted by their "Before You Arrive" recommendations. Timing and guides didn't work out because of timing constraints, but the staff kept trying. But we were delighted in the restaurant advice. The hotel staff even tried to help me book restaurants in other cities in Portugal when my local hotel was unhelpful. Loved the location, breakfasts, and rooms. Their on-site parking was tight, but convenient. [We should have rented smaller cars. Proved true here and elsewhere!]

A place with a lot of personality, comfortable beds, friendly staff and great location. We would not hesitate to come back to Evora and stay again.

The concierge was wonderful. She was a young employee who called 3 restaurants for us before finding one that could take us that evening! Breakfast was substantial with eggs and pancakes and there was a lovely outdoor patio on which to enjoy it.

From the first step onto the property I was enchanted. The people made the hotel, it is charming, clean and comfortable.

The property was good and the staff excellent. The rooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom lacks any hooks for hanging clothing and the shower needs a place for putting your own soap and shampoo. None of the places we stayed at in Portugal had wash cloths (???).

The staff were wonderful and were able to secure great dinner reservations on short notice - a very valuable service for a destination such as Evora.

The room we received has stairs down in order to get in . In order to turn the main light you have to go through the stairs up and back down, not ideal for elderly people. And its the only room in the hotel with stairs. To give us such a room is not appropriate . We were not be happy

Friendly and very accommodating staff. Good location. Beds were very comfortable. Good food, especially the salads. Very fresh! Outdoor patio was a plus for dining and just sitting to read a book. Restaurant suggestions were excellent.

Very nice hotel in easy walking distance to all of the city. Great breakfast, service and nice option to park in the garage. AC didn’t work in the room and a street light next to the window so you couldn’t leave it open for air. Overall good.

Simply awesome. Acommodationscwere great but what stads out is the service.they arranged bikes for our ride to see the megaliths and baby sat our luggage before checkin and after check out. Food was very good. Lively setting short walk from center of Evora. Loved it!

Lovely place right inside of the city walls. Google maps took us right to it without a hitch. Easy parking in garage under the hotel. After parking, we just left our car as Evora is a very walkable city. It's a straight shot on foot along one of the main roads to the main square. Our suite was spacious and extremely comfortable. This is a true boutique hotel with many lovely touches. Breakfast was lavish and included eggs or omelettes to order. We also enjoyed coffee and tea in our room The staff was very kind and the fellow who checked us in spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. We will next time!

Wow! This was by far the best place I have ever stayed at. The hotel was amazing, front desk clerk was very knowledgeable of the local area. Provided expert recommendations for dinner and completed the reservation for me. Breakfast was awesome! If you are going to Evora please stay here you won’t be disappointed
