We used ridgeway as our home base for the week to visit other cities like Ouray and Telluride whose hotel pricing is ridiculous. They had a nice breakfast, staff was always accommodating. We had king suite so had a hot tub on our deck which helped after long hikes. Will stay there again!

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Our room (134) was excellent and we loved the private patio area. The breakfast was less than what we were expecting at the price point. Unfortunately, the hotel is under renovation which wasn’t clear in booking. The adult hot tub has been permanently closed, which was very disappointing as it was one of the features we were looking forward to after hiking. Other amenities (like soda machine) were out of order.

We loved the private jakuzzi and the design if the room and hotel property. The check in and check out was so quick being contactless.

Booked this last minute and found it to be welcoming and refreshing. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Great location and kitchen area

My girlfriend and I wanted to make a romantic getaway to Ridgway and decided to stay at the Chipeta Lodge because she had stayed there before and loved it. We made reservations well in advance and got a good rate for a beautifully detailed suite. This was no typical hotel room! We had a great view of the spectacular scenery from the private hot tub on our balcony, a gas fireplace, and a nice little kitchenette. The one shortcoming was having to shinny through the space between the foot of the bed and the wall to get to the far side of the bed.. Oh my! Four thumbs up!

They are upgrading the property so there are a few little issues. I want to return when they have finished the construction.

The Apple TV was terrible. Kept going out, couldnt watch live tv. A bit dark in bathroom and other areas of room. Needs more lighting Great views !

Great staff, close to restaurants, parks, hiking trails.

We liked the 2nd floor king bed with the hot tub on the enclosed balcony. Very private and cozy. Couldn't get the fireplace to work, but didn't spend too much time trying to figure it out and was good without it. Would have been nice though!

Gorgeous quiet location with an amazing hang view from the balcony. The hotel is undergoing renovations so not all facilities were available. Pool was nice but we didn’t utilize. Kitchenette and overall room was lovely

This property was well cared for and the staff was very friendly. The spa was under construction which was a bummer. It’s walking distance to several parks and restaurants. There is also a great market right around the corner. Beautiful scenery and such a cute town.

This place will be great once the property renovations are complete.My room was great, spacious, well appointed with quality products. It was on the third floor, however, with no elevator which is difficult for the elderly. It was very nice but a lot of dogs on the property which always means barking.

The room was nice, but older. It had some great features with a whirlpool tub, hot tub on the balcony overlooking the mountains, kitchen... but the air wasn't on when we came in and it smelled musty, the curtains were ripped in several places, and the carpet and couch seemed quite old. The feel of this place was like it was great once. The sheets were clean and the basics were all there. Our one night there was fine.

The Chipeta is in a great location. The rooms could use some updating. There were multiple light bulbs that needed replacing so it made my room seem dark. The continental breakfast was disappointing especially given the room rate. The staff was very nice. The pool area was beautiful.

The Lodge was wonderful! We are looking forward to our next visit.

The drive took a toll on my partner and I, so when I was greeted by the front desk to check in, I was met with water and snacks which was pleasant. Checking in and out was a breeze. I enjoyed all of the amenities they offered in the studio suite, from the kitchen ware, coffee maker, they had a decent size fridge and microwave to the private hot tub. It was very clean and I slept on the comfiest bed with just the right amount of pillows that made if feel like a home away from home. There is a nearby park and neighborhood restaurants that is walking distance. The only con is the automatic front door light that switches on. It was insanely bright. Overall, 10/10 will recommend to friends

Our pillow cases were still wet when we got into the bed that evening. Went to the front desk but nobody was there. Also there was almost no hot water at 6:30-7. Other than that, the location and stay was nice.

This place was so much cuter than I anticipated! They really set you up with everything. The restaurant on-site was also really delicious and everyone we encountered was incredibly nice and helpful! I would love to stay here again sometime!

Our room with hot tub was lovely and confortable. renovations are currently underway but no nuisance. We will definitely come back again.

Both the spa and the Roman tub were closed, our only reason for doing a girl's trip at this high priced lodge. Restaurant menu was enticing online but got there and they only had a "new," menu of just tacos and navaho tacos (4) ad 2 salads. So that was also a bust.
