It will be our last time going there to many things wrong in the room.

The service was very good but the rate is too expansive for the room we had. This hotel need refreshement ans many reparations. Forget the breakfast! Yogourt, granola bar, coffee and juice!

This was a one night stay. check in and out very easy and breakfast on the go was sufficient- small muffins, yoghurts, cereal bars and bananas on offer as well as coffee and juice.
No kettle or coffee machine in the room or any utensils/crockery, so although there was a fridge and microwave, you need to bring your own .

The location is convenient, 10 minutes' walk from downtown. The staff is friendly and nice. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast, it was not a real breakfast, just a little snack, and no room for eating.

We liked the room. It was clean and linnens were fresh. The location proximity Gananoque Centre. The service was very good. We stayed 6 nights and had no issues. The only thing I would like is for there to be "more" options to the "on the go" breakfast. Ex: Apples, Oranges, fruit bars, V-8 juice boxes, other types of muffins. Real Coffee.

The bed was awful. It was so soft that we sunk into it and it was extremely high. My husband who is over 6 feet had to jump to get into the bed.

Hotel was easy to access from 401. Room was large but sparsely equipped. Some lights did not work. Bathroom sink tap would not fully turn off. Toilet ran for a long time when flushed. Heater in bathroom rusty and needed a good clean. The toiletries were very cheap. No cups or glasses in room. The bed was very soft. TV was raku. To watch many apps you needed a raku pin which was not provided. The grab and go breakfast was just adequate. No place to eat in lobby so had to take food back to room. It would have been helpful if a bag or tray was provided.

Close to Thousand Island Cruise. Motel style accomodation which I don’t really prefer. Access key was disabled way early before check out time. Fresh linen was delivered inside the room even if we haven’t checked out yet.

Staff was courteous. Booked hotel online & wasn't expecting the rooms to be motel style. Door to our room did not appear to have a secondary lock; wasn’t expecting a large window looking directly into the room from the porch/walkway entry.
Main lights in room & bathroom were extremely bright, other lights were quite the opposite. Beds were not the most comfortable, a little in the lumpy side. Window in bathroom let in quite a bit of light, lighting up the hotel room early in the morning.
Price point of room was appropriate for the accommodations that were provided.

The room was quite dirty and it made our overall stay unpleasant. We were travelling with our 1 yr old and the floors were so dirty his feet were black within an hour of being there (he walks already). The rooms are nothing like the photos. (paint colour yes, cleanliness no). The bathroom was very outdated and we didn't feel comfortable showering without something on the tub floor. There was used soap still in the drain of the tub from the previous guest. The AC unit was very loud. We will not return to any Howard Johnson chains

Great location for exploring Gananoque. The pool was a bonus. Basic rooms which were clean and comfortable.

Arrived late at night and staff was pleasant prompt, room was clean, beds were good not all worn out. A/c was weird because it would turn on and off to maintain temp not a steady fan on. Pillows were good as well. Their continental breakfast was coffee, juice boxes, muffins, granola bars, yogurt and bananas. My over night stay was pleasant would book again.
