This "renovated" motel (not a hotel) is on one of the worst stretches of Colfax. We walked from there to the capitol (about a quarter mile) and I was glad I was carrying. Many homeless, beggars, passed out addicts. Streets reek of urine. Businesses boarded. You know, downtown Denver. Room was small but clean. Unbelievable water pressure! Television about the size of shoebox (exaggerating) did not get local channels or lower 20. Loud drunk neighbors partying on balcony next door kept us up late.

The sink was cracked, loud street noise, unfriendly and unresponsive receptionist very small room and pancake pillows.

Awful experience. The hotel was unkept and dirty. The towels were very worn and fraying. The shower worked for a few minutes at a time, then would shut off and make an insane noise. There were around the has k=

I stayed here because my basement flooded. I needed a place to crash until the emergency work crew cleaned out all the sewage and repaired the pipes. The front desk receptionist was very kind to me. The room was clean and comfortable. It's overpriced because it's downtown Denver but it's half the cost of any other hotel down there and because of that. Accommodations are basic but I felt safe here. It's on East Colfax which is going to be loud and attract colorful characters. If you've never been to Denver and you don't know what to expect from Colfax then you might find the noise and chaos of the city overwhelming. For me, I have a special place in my heart for Colfax and I enjoyed the people watching. Great food nearby. Try the Pita place/Hookah bar or sliceworks pizza.

Bad location, horrible attempts at renovations, over priced, staff is not friendly.

The provided breakfast was a joke. While the room had been recently upgraded, it still lacked attention to detail and needed additional cleaning. The surprise $15 parking fee was not appreciated either!

You should tell people it’s a motel not a hotel. Also is crazy loud Thursday night through Saturday night with all the bars in full swing.

Pleasant staff. Modest but Ok rooms. This is a Motel in an urban area with limited facilities. It’s is what it is. Outside entry rooms.

The pictures make it look a lot better than it is. Room was relatively clean. Rooms smell of smoke and condition was fair. Counter tops were nailed on to repair damage, come boards were Puddied over to repair damage and then pained over.

Poor customer service. Bed was nasty with stains, hair strands and many other stains rain g from small to huge stains on mattered cover. Manager tried to justify and expected to accept the unsanitary bed. He wanted to move us to the room next door, but I already couldn’t get the nasty bed out of my mine. He only refunded two nights and parking, not the day we checked in because of their cancellation policy. Frankly, we didn’t cancel. We rejected the unsatisfactory and unsanitary bed!!! My husband asked if he would sleep on the bed and the Manger Steve kept quiet! I don’t recommend staying here PERIOD!

It was close to what I wanted to do.

Only two things that may make someone reconsider. One is the parking availability. The other is there is no fridge in the room.

Convenient location. Excellent staff. Downtown and ballpark very close, easy to get to.

It was in a terrible area. Customer service was rude.

Don't let the outside fool you, it is very nice! I stayed there with my son for a concert at the venue across the street. The service was amazing and the room was clean.

Location and transit were good. Was surprised to learn that it was primarily fo lower income and longer term residents - pleasant surprise - I am a passionate advocate for affordable housing. Stairwells dark and dingy and my overhead bedroom light and my overhead kitchenette light did not work. Interesting twist to be instructed to take out your own garbage to the dumpster once a week, too.

The workers are lovely, very clean, close to everything, the room is very nice, u have everything u need.

This was obviously a property which had been allowed to go into disrepair but the new owners were working really hard to bring it back to a nice place. Kudos to them!!

Staff very fruendly and courteous. Fee for pets very reasonable at $15. Did not know there was also a $15 fee for parking but that was also reasonable and felt it was secure. Rooms modest but clean. No complaints.

Everything was great, the only complaint we'd have is about the water pressure. It was to high in both the sink and the shower and would often splash water everywhere if you opened the tap to much. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

The last day there the elevators were not working, the welcome mat needs to be replaced or deep clean

This motel is rundown and has not been taken care of. I can tolerate that if the conditions are reflected in the price, but this Days Inn is charging a premium price for an old motel with no amenities. No fridge in the room, very few towel, soap, plastic cups, etc. The alleged breakfast that is supposed to be included contained nothing more than some extremely old cereal and a container of orange juice. On top of it all, they charged for parking despite the high room rate. Would not stay here again.

The stay wasn't that bad for the price. Not a good part of town. Truly felt like I should be carrying any time I went outside. Armed guard at the 7/11 next door every night. Take a cooler. There is no fridge in the rooms. There is only 1 oz samples of shampoo and conditioner. So if there are more than 1 of you, best of luck. Keys are sensitive electronics and have to be reset if they get close to your phone. Lighting in rooms was a interesting choice. 4 lamps (may or may not be falling apart). Three light bulbs above the mirror that are wired into the bathroom light. So if you go to the bathroom at night take precautions and unscrew the lights above the mirror so you don't wake up the room. Parking was absolute garbage. No where near enough parking for the number of rooms they have. And to help the parking situation. They sell spaces when there are events at the Fillmore Auditorium with NO regards to the patrons that have rooms and have already paid $15/day for said parking spots. Awesome location to go to the Fillmore Auditorium. You can walk there. But not worth the headache to find a parking spot. Get somewhere nicer and safer and use an Uber or Lyft to get to you venue.

Check in was smooth, staff were very nice. This hotel is very convenient after seeing a show at the Ogden, right across the street. Nice to have onsite parking available since street parking is hard to find. Off of Colfax so of course it's noisy, but that's just the location and the AC drowned out most of the noise. Nice, clean room, looked like it had recently been remodeled.

Horrible neighborhood

My stay at Day's Inn by Wyndham Denver. was a great experience only thing that I would like if I were to stay more than one night would be a refrigerator in the room and a lid to the ice bucket.

STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL WHEN ASKED FOR HELP OR INFORMATION. MORE CONCERNED USING THEIR CELLULARS THAN ANSWERING AREA QUESTIONS i.e. LOCAL PLACES TO EAT AND AREAS OF INTEREST. REQUESTED A ROOM WITH 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS AND RECEIVED A ROOM WITH 2 DOUBLES. I SCHEDULED A 2 NIGHT STAY ROOM RATE CHANGED FROM THE TIME WE RESERVED THE ROOM AND CHECK BUT WAS LATER ADJUSTED TO AGREED RATE...WE LEFT AT 0800 AND RETURNED 1700 AND ROOM HAD NOT BEEN ATTENDED TO (LEFT IN THE SAME CONDITION AS WE LEFT IT..HOUSEKEEPING DID NOT REPLACE TOWELS OR MAKE UP BEDS. WE HAD A COFFEE MAKER BUT NO COFFEE OR SUGAR/CREAMER) WHEN ASKED FOR THESE ITEMS TOLD HOUSEKEEPING SHOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF IT BUT SINCE WE WERE CHECKING OUT IT DIDNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE...MILK CONTAINER FOR COFFEE/CEREAL IN LOBBY WAS ONLY HALF FILLED JUICES WERE EITHER EMPTY OR HALF FILLED... I THINK YOU GOT THE IDEA THAT IT WASNT A PLEASANT STAY

This is a great place to stay when all you need is a place to sleep. If you are going to a show at the Fillmore or Ogden, this is the PERFECT location. It is also convenient to Coors Field (via a ride share) and to Empower Field (However EF has horrible ride share access.) The Days in was clean, easy check in, nice staff . . .

We had to pay for parking when there’s no parking available.
