My family and I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Meridian and were extremely disappointed by the lack of control over rowdy guests. A group of team members was incredibly disruptive throughout our stay. They were constantly running down the hallways, talking loudly at all hours, and knocking on random doors. It was impossible to get any rest due to the noise.
To make matters worse, they overtook the pool area, making it uncomfortable for other guests to enjoy the space. Their shouting and rough behavior were left unchecked by staff. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, but it was anything but.
We expected better from a hotel that markets itself as a peaceful place to stay. If you’re looking for a quiet and restful experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Window didn't close all the way and the room was the closest to the hiway of all rooms so road noise was excessive all night. Glass was cracked probably from someone trying really hard to get it to shut all the way. USB outlet didn't work so my phone was dead in the morning. And the TV kept coming on by itself with just a black screen intermittently all night until I unplugged it. All in, seems like the room could use some maintenance. Perhaps other rooms are better. And I couldn't see the sign from the road until I was past the driveway, the place is really poorly marked. I had to make the big double U-turn loop to come around again. Kind of a poor effort all around.

Hotel was fine! Lovely people at front desk and I had a nice bagel and coffee in the morning.
Decor was generic and bland. Cookie cutter.
Also, no stores or food in immediate vicinity.
Fine for my purposes for one night at good price.

The room was spacious and actually had beds for all five in my family. It was clean and comfortable.

I had the worst experience here! The rooms are totally unsafe! They had an OXIDIZED NAIL to lock the window and my daughter got hurt!
The fridge is full of water so it ruined my food!
It’s not possible to lock the bathroom’s door and you have to open with a key EACH TIME you want to use it

The front desk person told me the breakfast is until 10:30 but she “forgot” to tell me it’s only during weekends so of course We didn’t have breakfast on Monday! (It wasn’t only me)
The pool is extremely cold! It’s not possible to use it
The sheets and towels are ripped
I left the hotel one night before my reservation because of my daughter’s injury! It needs to be addressed

This was a quick stop for us to sleep during night driving - bed was new and comfortable and sheets were clean. Unusual smell in halls - not bad but very perfume like - over powering almost, mold on wall of bathroom and window tracks.

This Holiday Inn Express had very spacious suite for family of 5. Lots of room, multiple dressers, 2 TV’s, microwave and fridge. It was clean and price was reasonable.

The property was conveniently located, but our room was ridiculously humid. Despite two air conditioners running, our carpet was damp under our feet. The furniture is all second hand, mismatched and in fair to poor condition. But it was VERY CLEAN!!

The room was standard...nothing awful, nothing great. It was bigger than usual which I guess is nice. Breakfast was mediocre...good enough to fill your gut, but nothing special. The pancake machine was broken. It was pretty quiet all three nights.

The size of the rooms was top notch! Huge!
The only thing that i was a little mad at was the thermostat was under the air conditioning unit which didnt allow room to cool down to desired temp. Talked to owner and its in the works to move thermostat to other side of room so it will reach desired temp

The stay was comfortable but not perfect. I am still awaiting clarification as far as how much the stay cost. I was quoted an amount and overcharged three times over. The most memorable part of the stay were THE “R” SISTERS!!!! Lord knows they ARE THE MOST HELPFUL AND COMPASSIONATE HUMANS I’ve ever met! 5 stars for both of them!!!!

Originally I Was not impressed but as our stay continued I saw how service conscious the management and staff were. They offered a very nice complimentary breakfast. Wifi worked well and they had a robust cable TV selection. Convenient and good location.

The room was very quiet and clean. The free breakfast was also much better than you get at other hotels who offer free breakfast.

Staff was super friendly and very helpful! The ladies at the front desk and the lovely lady in the dining hall were very warm and welcoming. Our bathroom was a wee bit run down, the grout in the tiles was coming out and was sharp under our feet. Other than that, this was a great little spot to stay in and we will be back!

I have never been to CT. We went for my daughter’s graduation at Wesleyan. The customer service is 15 out of 10. We were tired from a long trip from the city. The desk person was kind, attentive and attentive. I would stay there again. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

i booked a standard room $200 they gave me an executive $340 and I asked to be moved because I knew this would cost more they claimed they were “booked”even though they’re parking lot was empty except for 3 cars in the lot. Room smelled like stinky feet, furniture is 1980’s and we’re right by the highway so we heard the traffic the entire night. The “pool” is a kiddie pool, not good for swimming laps but okay if you’re traveling with toddlers. Holiday Inn is meant to be an affordable family spot but this stay was not.
