Reserved 2 rooms for 7 people. They only had one room. Had to wait 2 hours until they cleaned one that was under renovation. Very poor customer service

The hallway fire alarm went off randomly throughout the night, a dozen or more times. We were afraid to go to sleep for fear of being jolted awake at any moment. We called the desks, and they said, "Yeah, we've been having problems with that." So, we willingly booked into a hotel that knew we wouldn't be able to sleep. We might as well have stayed on the road all night.

It was a good stay. Staff was friendly as well as courteous. Overall we were pleased. Thanks again!

They messed up my booking. Gave my room to another guest and I ended up with a room half the size of what I booked. The front desk staff are inexperienced. I was checked out by them before the end of my booking. When I found out and called to try to fix it, I was put on hold forever. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

This hotel is under renovation and construction is visible in many areas. Cable TV wasn’t hooked up so we had to switch rooms.

I reserved two rooms at the Hampton in Mentor, OH, when we arrived the manager said that Expedia cancelled one of our rooms. The manager said that Expedia sent her a email cancelling one room. I asked to see the email because I never received an email from Expedia but she went in back room & never came back up the staff said she was on the phone but I'm pretty sure she was hiding. It was a terrible experience, we had to search for another hotel & had to go into Cleveland to find one. I will never go to another Hampton.

It was horrible except for the cleanliness of the place. No pillows. No garbage cans. Was given a garbage bag. Later to put over the door. No tv. If there was a fire no smoke detector. Clerk did not tell us that thes items were missing. Managers to call on Tuesday No call. I need at Least. 50 Percent back. I heard someone asking for 100 percent.

This was the worst hotel, they are under renovations so you get no tv, no internet

The property was under renovation, which was not indicated on the website. Housekeeping did not respond to a request for making up the room for one day of the stay. Two of the 3 nights spent there the adjacent rooms were noisy well into the night.
On the plus side the daily breakfast was very good.

Upon arrival had to wait 15 minutes to check in only 1 person working, key issues getting into room then no TV.

We were graciously put in a newly renovated room but the room key did not work the whole time we were there. The hotel staff was very accommodating in getting us in the room but it was definitely an inconvenience for all involved.

The front desk gentleman Juan was amazing! He went above and beyond to make my kids and I feel right at home!! When I travel this way again, I will for sure stay here just because of his hospitality!!

We tried to check in, but were told that we didnt have a reservation. To make things worse they were full so we had to scramble and find somewhere else to stay.

Curtains were not able to be pulled for privacy or to block out light from the street light right by our room. The bathroom had no door knob so it wouldn’t stay closed. I understand the hotel was under construction on floor 3 and 4 but we were on floor 2.

This hotel is in the process of renovating so things were not normal, which was to be expected, but the lobby and breakfast area had been renovated, and looked awesome.
The breakfast was very nice and had many choices for guests. The attendant taking care of the breakfast area kept everything neat and clean. We will definitely go back.

We were 8 min before checkin time and someone from Hampton inn called and cancelled our room because of a remodeling problem with sprinkler! We know things can happen but the way this was handled was very unprofessional leaving us without a place to stay! If we had something come up and cancelled that close to check I. You know we would have been charged yet they can do something like this and nothing to make it right !

Hall way smelled like a wet ashtray and the elevator was not that clean keys didn’t work first time went back down to front desk there was no one around so I called the hotel phone rings and they finally came back to answer the phone and we got new keys made

This Inn is under renovation and so this review needs to be understood in that context. We received an email in advance advising us of the situation and that the pool was no longer an amenity. The staff was excellent. We had a pleasant stay.

Check in was quick and flawless. I am in a king room and it's about as big as my college studio apartment. Really spacious and comfortable. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so there's some noise and clutter, but it hasn't disturbed me a bit.

We were given a room that was handicap accessible. So it didn't have a pull out that we needed. But they were able to give us a roll away bed. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of hot foods each day. What a nice city!
