I love this little inn. The only problem with it is the parking lot has very tight spaces and is one way, making it difficult for people with limited mobility to enter and exit vehicles and for people with larger vehicles to park. Otherwise, it's very comfortable, responsive and friendly staff, and very clean.

The Inn is very nice and the room was everything I needed. Very close to the downtown shopping area and food. The only reason I did not give 5 stars overall is the internet is not the greatest and if you need internet while you travel id have a separate hotspot when you stay here. I would stay here again and recommend.

When we went to enter the room, we saw it was being worked on. Various tools were lying about, and the TV did not work. Management was powerless to help.

Wi-fi was underpowered. Bed was soft. Hard to access live news on the new smart tv, and the signal kept breaking up. Bathroom mirror did not line up with the sink.

I really enjoyed the fact that it's not a multi-story hotel where you are surrounded by noise and people. Very quiet and the amenities were great. No annoying key card, you entered the room with a code. Huge mini fridge, microwave, and coffee in the room. Only draw back is that the parking lot is small and a tight fit but doable. Many restaurants in walking distance or 5 minutes by car. If we come to the Sierra storytelling festival again, we will stay here, really nice place!

This property is located within easy walking distance of a vibrant downtown with restaurants and shopping. The unit itself is large, clean, had appreciated amenities, very well furnished too. Of the three places we have stayed on our trip this was far and away the best. We will be sure to book Sierra Mountain Inn on our next trip to this area.

We had a great check in super easy . We loved the space and the two rooms. They had a small kitchenette which was super helpful throughout our stay. We were able to have a refrigerator that we were able to keep some food and some drinks and there was a microwave. The only thing was the carpet right into the transfer to the kitchen I could feel some nails. I let them know of the problem. They were very helpful with any questions or concerns.

Small, comfortable rooms that are clean. The mattress is a bit soft to my taste but comfortable. I often bring my own down pillows and comforters when traveling so I was exceedingly comfy. Without my own bedding it would have been comfortable but not luxurious. I’d stay here again.

Cute place, clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit tight, you have to back out into the street to leave. I think the rooms are sound proofed, which was nice. Will definitely stay here again. They're also pet frindly with a small deposit, but call ahead of time to make sure you can get a pet friendly room.

This little motel is a charming and clean place to stay in a sweet little town. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because there was more road noise than I expected in such a small town. The mattress was ok, but box springs were a bit wobbly for my taste. The room was pretty small. The staff was great and very helpful. The bathroom was large and really nice. Wifi was good, and it was convenient to have a microwave and dorm fridge in the room. I really enjoyed the redwood tree that was in the yard. I would stay here again when in the area.

Host/hostess was very welcoming during check in and check out. The room was perfect for 2 people. We would have enjoyed having bar soap and better quality paper products but overall it was a nice setup. We stayed in #10 but unfortunately each morning we were rudely awakened at 6 and 6:30am by the loud music from the RV next door.

We stayed in room 11. The mattress was too soft. Could hardly turn over. I saw a previous review where the guest complained about this particular mattress and the response that the mattresses had been replaced recently with pillow top mattresses. Even so, I've never encountered a mattress this soft. The bathroom tiles are cracked. The bar between the bed and the kitchenette takes up so much space its a little hard to get around.
The staff was very good, friendly and courteous. I would recommend anyone booking a room here to ask for a room away from the main road and sit on the bed before tucking in for the night.

My stay was very peaceful. The grounds have seating to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful trees. If there is anything I would change it would be larger parking spaces for oversized cars, maybe street parking was an option.

I am disabled and it was unfortunate that I could not stay in the ADA room. The room that I stayed in was difficult for disabled person (e.g. no grab bars in toilet; no ramps outside front door etc.).

We have been going to Grass Valley for over 20 years since we have family there and we know every hotel and inn but we will only stay at Sierra Mountain from this point forward...what a gem! Cannot say enough great things about this place! Already booking for December! Love Sierra Mountain Inn!!! We are so happy...
