It cost $154 and feels like a $50 motel. It felt really cheap.

The room was great but I had to go in twice. The first time they said no rooms went out and got a room through a third party. They didn’t tell me I had to get online and find it. It was late and I was tired.

The hotel area was fresh smelling & clean. The casino smelt horribly like cigarette smoke & it was so thick in the air. We go to casinos often & this one was bad this time. The closing times of the restaurants, bar, & casino are not good…closing way too early. The pool area was blah…pool bar not open
& no music or anything. We used to love it at Grand but probably won’t go all the way back to just stay like we did.

Our stay was just average. The room was a little small but nice. The bed was fairly comfortable and the sheets were soft. I wish the bar at the pool was open. We were there on a Monday and only one of the restaurants were open for dinner so that was our only option. The grill was good and the casino was nice. I did expect a little better service from something with Resort in the title but was left with little options. Overall I wasn’t overwhelmed and just thought it was an average hotel stay. I wouldn’t make the trip back.

The room was not clean when we arrived. We were told upon arrival that there was NOT daily maid service, but if we wanted something like clean towels, or trash removed to call the desk, which we did, but it was still not addressed. The TV did not work, the floor was dingy.

When we got to the hotel we were informed by the check in desk that Expedia did not reserve our room for June 9th even though our conformation showed it as June 9th. The room was booked for July 9th instead. This is the 1st time we ever had an issue with Expedia. The hotel staff had to scramble to get us in on 6-9. This last minute room had a slow draining shower and the air conditioner was not functioning properly. The hotel staff was informed of the room issues and said they would get that looked into. We feel these were just a one time problem and would continue to use Expedia and also return the Grand hotel.
