We liked that it was dog friendly accommodation. initially we couldn't park in our allocated spot due to other holiday people parking not so well. but Alisia organised us another close by spot that was vacant. Walks around the area were good.

So close to the water , when I holiday at the beach I like to be able to walk there and home , not to have to use the car all the time .. lovely setting , pub nearby , a great spot

The property itself was nice. First opion not great when I arrived. I was told that my cabin had a queen bed and bunkbeds. I explain that my confirmation from Expedia said two queen beds, they apologetically said there was nothing else available. Having travelled from Canada it did not leave me options. So I took the cottage which turned out to be a queen bed and two singles. Not sure what if any price differential that would have cause. Everyone needs to get their information together for the customer.

Great spot, cabin was great. Only downside is tha its a 4 person cabin and the couch is tiny but its a great place and love the pet friendly and how they show you all the pet friendly placez in the area. Thank you.

The view of Richmond River from the cabin patio was basically uninterrupted. The premises & surrounds were immaculate, despite Ballina experiencing the devastating floods around the time. The kitchen facilities are perfect for someone like Me with special dietary requirements. I don't drive, so the location is ideal for anything you need to do in Ballina...be it sit on a beach, at the river or park, shop for fun or groceries - all walking distance and flat unless on cliff faces or bush tracks

The small cabins are too expensive. We can gat a house for just a little more. There isn’t enough shelving or towel racks in the bathroom. We used string to hang our towels. There was no chopping board. The internet usage is extremely limited. There wasn’t enough to watch movies or use the mobile phone for wifi. The cleaning is basic and lacks detail.

I loved that after a very long drive we were warmly greeted with a great big smile and kind words. I knew straight away we chose well! Our amazing cabin confirmed this. We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay, cant wait to go back and spend longer next time in beautiful Shaws Bay.

The floor was need of a mop as we had to wear thongs inside to stop our feet from getting black. I think they are vacuuming but not mopping after every booking.

We stayed in a standard cabin for three nights. The cabin was small but comfortable and had everything required for a good stay. The location of the caravan park is excellent - our patio overlooked the bay and was a pleasant place to have an afternoon drink. The caravan park is located next to a hotel, so it was a convenient place to have a meal. There were great walks and bike rides from the caravan park, with it being located next to the causeway at the entrance to the Richmond River. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Stayed in cabin three which has a nice veranda and bbq and overlooks the bay. Very comfy and quite spacious cabin. Beds were comfy and the cabin was quite clean but because it is so close to the bay and sand there was abit of sand in the couch and the floor was a little gritty but being so close to the sand it is to be expected. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would stay there again.

Nice place just 2 minutes from ballina township and a10 minute drive from Lennox Head. We booked a cabin with an ensuite and kitchen. Our cabin wasnt as nice as it looked on the website. The bathroom is very damp after a shower the moisture would drip down the walls and it was like that the whole time we were there. The bathroom fan didnt help and toilet paper would get soggy from the damp air. Wifi did not work. I found the office staff a little blunt and not very friendly. We stayed 6 nights and were each allocated 2 clean towels over our stay even when i took our towels to the office to get fresh ones we were not allowed any more. Definitely an ideal place to stay if your on a budget it cost us $113 per night for 3 of us. It has a heatpump which was nice. Im not a fussy person but I wouldnt stay here again.
