Very unique rustic cottage perfect for a quiet getaway from it all. Breakfast was huge with bonus port and chocolate on arrival!

Wollombi is lovely rural location, with essential pub and general store. Howell's cottage is set in a winery that offers tastings and our cottage allowed us to enjoy sounds of nature. We had another cottage near us but hear no noise and apart from seeing smoke from wood fire would not have known anyone else was around. Cottage has all you need, wood supplied for fire with an air conditioner as well. Supplies of eggs, bacon, tomatoes, butter and bread are left so you cook your own breakfast when it suits you. With so many choices to eat out, you may not need to do any other cooking. We found the pub great for pizza or a burger, with more upmarket eating choices in nearby towns. Circa 1836 at Pokolbin offers fine dining and worth a visit for a special occasion. Cedar Creek cottages provide a good base to visit the Hunter Valley.We were fortunate to stay prior to floods arriving again. Very sad to see the pub and surrounds are once again flooded so the hospitality trade needs tourists to visit and help them recover

Right next to vineyard and can walk amongst the vines, creeks and hills.

DO NOT GET TRAPPED!! They are the rudest most hateful people. Who use the excuse "its private property " to avoid all accountability and government regulations and laws. They will take your money and not refund ever. Read the fine print and other reviews. The WORST.

What can we say, this little cottage is absolutely beautiful. We have loved staying here and cannot wait to be able to come back and stay again

Very cute well located cottages, management called ahead of time to advise only one bed was available and I appreciate the call. Room was a bit cold but comfortable. Gorgeous view overlooking vineyards.

- Complimentary wine was sweet like honey - Instead of cheese , there was butter - No matches for fireplace - long life milk was available, when I went all the way to owners home, he was surprised as he said we always keep fresh milk. He was kind enough to offer me a bottle. I will not go there again.

Great place, relaxing, beautiful surroundings. The feeling of being extremely remote being on the property. No wifi or phone reception let us as a family relax without technology!

Room description included a spa, and cooked breakfast. Not great value when you turn up and find out the breakfast is cooked by you, and there is no soa. Really nice little getaway, just not worth the price, given the specifics.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Ceder Creek. The individual cottages are free standing and overlook the vineyard. Staff were very friendly. The included breakfast hamper was waiting in the fridge, ready to be cooked (eggs, bacon, backed beans, tomato, bread, orange juice, milk). There was complementary port to sample and other wines from the vineyard available in the room to purchase (at a discount to the cellar door). Note: no phone reception or wifi in the cottage, a nice way to switch off!

Beautiful area with great cabins. Loved the fireplace, the spa bath and the included breakfast! Sometimes you don't realise how great it is to disconnect until you're forced to - there really is no reception here! Wifi at the cellar door though if needed. Loved our stay!

Staff were extremely friendly and able to help with all questions and requests, cottage was clean and tidy

We needed a quit place to get away, and will definitely rebook. The Wollombi valley is beautiful, with lovely cafes in Wollombi The cottages were charming and enjoyed it alot

Stayed for 2 nights it was not long enough. Great little get away in a nice and peaceful setting.
