I was positively surprised by the friendly service and cleanliness of the hotel. The room was quiet (facing the inner court yard) and the bed comfy. The toilet would need some repairs (water leaking), but overall I had a good stay. The hotel is located in the business centre of the city. Busy during day time, but quiet at night. For moving around, we appreciated the taxi service from the hotel.

The only good thing here is the restaurant and its staff. Receptin desk very disappointing and quality of their servuces is awful. I can't recommend this hotel.

Overall great experience . The staff was nice and professional. The bed was comfy, the sheets bed and towels very clean I booked a suit and the living room need to be little decorate to be attractive.

For my money this hotel hits the sweet spot between luxury and economy. Comfortable bed & bedding, good shower, functioning A/C, helpful and friendly staff. The food and drinks (like yummy fresh fruit juices) are excellent but pricey. Nice little pool, and the poolside seating makes a nice place to put feet up and relax or work, even if you don't swim. Kind of wish they'd provide an extra towel and a washcloth. Like all hotels they change out all the linens and towels each time the housekeepers come in, so I just keep the Do Not Disturb sign up except when I need them. Occasional little maintenance problem like the bathtub not draining well--no big deal so I didn't call maintenance. A/C works well, a bit noisy as you'd expect from a wall unit.

No hot water, although they could easily have switched on the water heater, as we only found out in the morning. But most of all, surcharge for breakfast despite breakfast clearly included in my booking. Next stay will be in another hotel.

There no toilet seat and so I had to sit on the porcelain when using the toilet. Not to be expected from a 4 star hotel

Hotel management needs to pay attention to facilities maintenance particularly in bathrooms and bedrooms to main good standard. Good breakfast selection - though breakfast time should be extended beyond 10:00 am during the week. International standard is 10:30 AM.

I booked it on Expedia with full payment for 6 nights and when i reached there they said no availability they have cancelled it. They lied that they have transferred my booking to Hotel Djeuga Palace i was told to go there even at that hotel they did not reserved they lied a century. Then they took me to a 3rd Grade Hotel Franco which was even worst never in my life i have stayed in such a rubbish hotel.They fought with me for Taxi Airport pickup service. I never stayed in the hotel that i booked. I want Expedia to refund my full Money back immediately or i will have to take legal action which please be noted.Refund my money to my Credit Card with 24 Hrs and confirm ASAP.

This was my second stay at the hotel. The food is good. It is the staff that made the stay nice- service with a smile. Special thanks to Rodrigues, Sorel and Stephanie. The location is also very good- central and close to a supermarket. The drawback of course to being central is the noise from the beeps beeps of the cars. During my stay, there were numerous power failures but the generators kicked in almost immediately every time.

La Falaise is a reliable, consistent stay. Breakfast is good and rooms comfortable, thought small. They've re-done the gym since the last time I stayed and it's lighter and quite nice. Well suited to business trips: internet is reliable. Generally quiet. Fine food menu. Staff is helpful and efficient.

I have been in a couple properties in this price range and this hotel was the best among those. Clean, nice rooms (unlike many in Cameroon, the lighting was nice, the ceiling not too high or too low, AC worked great, nice tv, etc.), and helpful staff even for English-speakers. They will make you eggs if you ask at breakfast. The fitness center has a nice punching bag but only one working treadmill and very light dumbbells, and the AC in the fitness center was broken. Around the corner there is a very nice restaurant and cabaret called Boukarou Lounge. I will stay there again next time

The staff at La Falaise are terrific! They did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and productive. The rooms are not very spacious, but they are adequate and clean. I had no complaints and I would definitely stay at La Falaise again.

Neat, clean, conveniently located and comfortable although I personally find it about 25% more expensive than justified. Check in takes too long and none of the staff at reception have a smile on their face - gives the impression that management is driving them too hard and they are just doing their duty like they don't really care. This should be avoided because otherwise the hotel is good. This was my 2nd stay in less than 2 months and I would happily repeat it if I happen to visit Yaounde - I just hope that reception staff is more warmly welcoming and that the hotel seriously considers pricing itself in the USD 100 to USD 115 range, not higher.

Good hotel for the price ... everything is available and it's solid value for the money. I would definitely recommend La falaise if you are staying in Yaoundé and want to avoid paying Hilton prices.

The hotel is fairly new, in good condition, clean and comfortable. It is the next best option after the Hilton if you don't want to spend an exorbitant amount on a room. Staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. They speak mainly French but have some English and there was always someone on staff with more English available if necessary. Wi-fi and air conditioning work fine throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of options and I requested an omelette each morning. I had two evening meals which were also very nice. The price is reasonable, I had a good stay, no complaints.

Well, after 2 full days of driving from Eastern Cameroon and a stop-over in the city of Yakadouma, where the best hotel in the city did not have a toilet seat... this was a much welcomed Western Relief. It's certainly not the cheapest hotel in the city, but not as expensive as the "top chian hotel", it still has all the comfort and amenities one would need. The food was good, the beers were cold, the staff was helpful, the water in the large shower tub was hot and the toilets flush (not a given for Cameroon!) The beds were comforable and the A/C was working.. what else can you really ask for? If I ever found myself in Yaounde, I'd take this hotel again without thinking twice. most of the staff in the check-in counters spoke at least some English and were helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport.

Very good international standard in this hotel but i was some disappointed by the staff customer capacity to help a customer (lack of helpfulness) and to solve his problems. Except this incident i was very impressed by the quality of this nice hotel with an affordable price
