Dwight has a gem of a motel. Extremely clean with all the necessary amenities. Plenty of space inside plus a nice deck. Very close to beautiful parks and drives.

We stayed with our 2 dogs in the open concept king room (#17). They are designed like little rustic cabins, with a mini kitchenette and a full bathroom! The rooms themselves looked modern and more up to date than some of the older pictures on here. This is definitely a smaller business/operation and you can tell they do some of the DIY themselves but that’s okay! It adds charm and that’s part of the enjoyment of staying at smaller places and not chains. The room had good solid wifi, good air conditioning and heating, the bed was comfy the shower worked great, good pressure. They had cable tv and a smart tv with streaming apps! There was an almost full sized fridge which was great! Normally you just get teeny tiny little mini fridges.
We did have an incident where one of our dogs got a hold of the blanket on the bed and started to chew it. We went straight to the front desk and they were so nice and charged a very reasonable rate to replace the blanket they didn’t try to gouge us, and they were super understanding and clearly animal people so it was just a great experience over all! They also recommended great places to eat when we checked in!
The bed was comfy! We always bring our own pillows while travelling. But they did have 2 different kinds available. So that’s nice!
Overall very quiet area and lots of privacy. Very happy with our stay!

I was looking for a quiet spot to stay on a short getaway, and this cottage fit the bill perfectly. It was very quiet, despite all of the rooms and cottages appearing to be occupied. There is a strong family/community vibe here that really added to my relaxing vacation. It is a short drive to restaraunts, beaches, shops and attractions, including the Cavendish Beach tourist area. The cottage was clean and cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I wish I could've stayed longer!

The room itself was clean and acceptable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. But the property was very overgrown and cluttered with vehicles and campers with knee high grass growing around them. It was not a very good first impression. With some cleaning up and weed eating, it would be a much nicer place.

Basic rustic cabin overlooking the water which was very nice.Good location for restaurants- Blue Mussel cafe a great place for dinner.
Two negatives- very old rusty microwave and the lighting very poor… definitely needed stronger light globes

We had a great stay at this cabin. The folks that own and run it are very hospitable and helpful. The cabin was just what we needed and was a great experience. The location was great as well right in the middle of what you want to see on that part of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a great stay. The location was conveniently close to everywhere we wanted to visit and also minutes to the harbor and good restaurants. North Rustico was even nicer than we hoped it would be.
Our host could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. Our cabin was clean with lots of living space and everything we needed for a good stay. The evening fire was a nice touch.

Amazing stay at North Rustico. Noah was excellent and super helpful.
Everyone ended up getting a stomach bug( not related to the motel) on our last day and had to stay two extra days. He was very accommodating and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

It was amazing!! So relaxing! Dwight, Heather and their family were all very nice and helpful. We did all the places they recommended to go see and we were not disappointed!! We reserved for only one night and ended up staying for 2. We would have stayed longer if we had more time. We didn’t want to leave, it was so cozy, private and homey!! Our dog (YES, they are PET FRIENDLY 🙂) didn’t want to leave either, she felt like she was at home. We HIGHLY recommend this place to stay on your next vacation.

Terrific place to stay. View of the water from the cabin. Grocery store, national park, ice arena, boardwalk, little shops, Anne of Green Gables all very close by. Owners are very nice and give great local information on things to do in the area. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The cabin is clean, comfortable, homey feeling. A beautiful home away from home. It was nice having the grill on the deck to cook lunch/dinner. Our family loved our stay and will definitely go back again.

We rented a small open concept cottage for a week. It was clean and had a partial kitchenette with a full size fridge. We had all that we needed and were offered clean towels as needed. The owners were so friendly and informative about the tourism in the area. The staff were great too. We'd stay there again!
