I think this place was adorable. Comfy beds and giant tv. Kitchen actually had nice pans and utensils unlike most hotels with kitchen with dollar store junk.

The room was recently remodeled and very nice. Property is clean and owners are friendly. Motel is located walking distance to restaraunts.

Older looking hotel, but nice and clean inside the room. Checking in was easy and the staff were polite/ friendly. Easy walk to downtown as we were tired from riding our motorcycles. Parking is good. We played golf at the nearby golf course. Great course and they rent clubs!

I think this place is a hidden little gem . Close to some great hiking spots and can easily walk to some really cute restaurants and the park often has little events.

The grounds are well kept. It's quiet, and you can park right outside your door. The staff is kind and helpful. The room is cute and has a fridge, coffee pot, and microwave which helps. The bed and pillows are very comfortable! I want the bed! The shower inserts could definitely be updated, but I still felt comfortable using the shower. The room needed to be dusted and swept, but the bathroom and bed were clean.

The property is not taken care of. Needs cleaned and new calking along floors & shower. Needs a good handy man to get the property & bathrooms & everywhere cleaned up & repaired. The shower head was like 20 years old & must be clogged, tiny spritz of water spray everywhere. Just buy a new shower head so people can wash the soap off!!!!!

Property is in a good location and is quiet. Chewellah is a nice small town and we did plenty of walking around town for exercise.
Drawbacks of the property are lack of shelf space (bathroom, bedroom) and no chairs.
I will stay there again when I'm in Chewellah.

The owners are doing great job. Room was comfy. Need some screens and shower update...but on the right road! Enjoyed our stay.

Driving in to the property, it looked very sketchy dirty and ghetto. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating. We got our keys, opened the door and were shocked to find such a charming one bedroom apartment! It was tastefully decorated with a full kitchen. They also allow dogs for a fee which worked well for us. We were able to cook a pizza after our long trip and relax. Overall, the accommodations were great, the outside needs some work. I believe the front desk lady said the property is under new management.

We got there and there was a homeless couple unhooking all there stuff out of their car right across from the office, which looked closed, blinds drawn. Then at the other end of the property was all sorts of junk in the parking lot and a broken down rv/trailer something...and behind the property was all sorts of junky looking canopies. We left and found a different motel. Dreadful.

Variety of tea and cocoa with coffee & maker.
Comfortable with pleasant appearance/new furnishings.
Sufficient water pressure & hot water in shower.
Great blackout curtains.
Did not like: paper-thin walls with neighbors on both sides up early (3-4am) either to go fishing/hunting ot to watch TV; their voices & TV were easily heard until we turned on our room's AC fan, which worked well.

Great little room. Good for staying in for a night or two. There is not much else. The front desk folks have been nice the two times I have stayed here. Showers were good, towels are nice, bed and bedding are comfortable

Pros: Cozy rooms, friendly staff, smart TVs, close to everything, great water pressure and affordable price. Also- dog friendly!
Cons: like most motels you can hear pretty well through the walls to the other rooms but that’s pretty typical.
Overall good stay and highly recommend for ski trips to 49 degrees north!

Stayed three nights. Room was clean and neat. Location was ok. Next door is a used car yard. Room was adequate for a person or two.

Well it all started when they checked us into a room athat wasnt propertly cleaned with no bathroom ventilation. They moves us to another room the next day...... we then moved to the room next door which i immediately noticed that it wasnt cleaned in several spots! The manager was right there and sent the housekeeper in. She cleaned only a few spots but missed eveeything important.... there was black mold on the cealing in the bathroom and yellow pee stains on the pillows and bed cover...... extremly gross...overall we were very unhappy with our stay and wish we would have known it was gonna be this was we qould have went somewhere else..... veey disappointed!! I have photos 📸

Ive stayed here a couple times because of the location to Mt. Rainier entry, the rooms are old but semi updated. You can hear everything from every room including the hallway. Kind of feels like you’re a guest at a house. WiFi is good, parking is great. Location to restaurants is not convenient unless your driving to them. What I’m amazed at each time I’ve gone the front desk people are always so unfriendly. Its not a deal breaker, but they truly look and act like they hate you and their job. Friendliness upon entry and exit is easy to provide.

Only downside: The bed was not level. It was higher at the foot, seems to be the mattress. Otherwise, a good stay.

The managers. Lori and Beau, are wonderful, responsive, and friendly. We continue to come back every time we drive through the area, but not just because it is less expensive than others.

The area around the property felt questionable. The cleaning staff was nice enough and accomodating. The manager was OK, but a bit too talkative for weary travelers. the main problems we had were a shower that we couldn't get to work. We really wanted a shower after a long journey. We finally got it to work in the morning after a lot of pushing and pulling. The shower itself felt grimy. This is a very no frills place with no snacks, drinks or ice available. The room was depressing and our view consisted of rusted truck canopies. Our air conditioner was really noisy and there were lots of other strange noises that kept us awake.
