View is great! very comfortable... I got one of the rooms that had its own bathroom. Yea! The great part is it has the charm of a old hotel... but the comfort and amenities of a modern hotel.

What a charming hotel! We had a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful with a view and all the amenities needed. The reception staff were extremely friendly, fast and helpful. We had a fabulous dinner at McMillan’s, both food and ambience - and the best donuts ever at the cafe the next morning. Roche Harbor is quiet in March, but a peaceful getaway from Seattle; highly recommend!

I liked how many different unique places there were for people to stay in. It made it seem like Roche Harbor was a town and not just a resort. Also the water front was really nice to view from our hotel and the docks were fun to walk on observing all the different boats. If I had to change one thing about my stay it would be that in between day one and day two of our stay, our room was not cleaned. But other than that it was a great place to stay.

The view from the room is exceptional. The room had a good design. Some rooms do not have their own bathroom. The front desk clerk upgraded us to a room with a bathroom which we really appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at the Roche Harbor Resort! We stayed in the sunset suite at the Hotel de Haro that had a view of the entire harbor and a door to the deck outside. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Both mornings during our stay we got breakfast wraps and coffee from the Lime Kiln Cafe and enjoyed them on the balcony outside our room. The staff were friendly and accommodating and there is so much to see in and around the resort, including the mausoleum and sculpture garden. The hotel and surrounding area have an interesting history and most attractions are just a short run, bike ride, or drive away. We would love to stay here again!

I loved staying in this hotel! We had a great view of the harbor, I loved our balcony and the updated bathrooms were great as well

We really enjoyed our stay. The room in the Quarryman Hall was nice and roomy. You can tell they made a big effort to ensure the room was clean and safe given our current environment. Loved the old photos throughout the resort.

Historic older hotel, interesting and right on the waterfront. Would stay there again.

Great location for an intimate wedding. Unfortunately it rained so it made getting to and from town a little harder to pick up groceries. We weren’t aware that the restaurants on site weren’t open all through the weekend.

Great location for a great getaway, even if its for business. the beds are very comfortable and the local restaurants are so good! Everyone was really nice and helpful. I didn't read super close about the shared bathrooms, but it wasn't an issue because it wasn't super busy during the week I went.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. We were in the John Wayne Suite, which had been reburbrished in 2015 or 2015, and one of the 6 rooms with a bath, shower and toilet in the room. The hotel was built in 1886. Great location and very peacefil at Roche Harbor. It was a great stay

Absolute gorgeous location. Our hotel room was a bit outdated as no tv and no air conditioner in our room. We couldn't get the window with a screen open either and didn't really want to open the other window as it had no screen. The room was very clean and quiet overall. Front desk was extremely nice and helpful. We were with our 1 year old and they had a pack n play that was in good condition which was helpful. Overall a great hotel and would recommend although maybe not that particular room if it's hot out.

The views at the Roche Harbor Resort are absolutely incredible. Sunsets over the harbor were awe inspiring not to mention the breakfast and dinner options were delicious. Do yourself a favor and book a stay! It was the highlight of our trip through the northern Washington coast and San Juan's.

What I Love is the coziness and beautiful views. What I hated was having to leave.

The living area is tiny while the bathroom in the John Wayne Suite is immense... like size of the living area immense. It is nice and accommodations on the island are not exactly plentiful but it was a little too much money in my opinion.

Our dinner at McMillans was very delicious and the service excellent.

We were skeptical about "shared bathrooms" but all changed when we looked at the accommodations. All the rooms are "quaint" and the bathrooms spotless, being cleaned regularly during busy times. Loved sitting outside on the balcony watching people while enjoying coffee/wine. What a wonderful and relaxing hotel.

My partner and I stayed one night on our way to Victoria. Check-in staff were great, easy process and friendly. We had the Presidential Suite. Beautifully renovated while at the same time honoring the historical aspects of the hotel. One of the most comfortable beds ever. We had a great time walking the grounds and docks. Had dinner at McMillin’s, good food and atmosphere. Finished the night drinking wine on the deck outside our room over looking the harbor watching the retreat of the colors. Will definitely be back again and will stay longer.

Great location with view over the harbor coupled with really nice weather. Good relaxing stay in a very pleasant place. Would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay with small children. Also San Juan Island is great for hikes and exploring around with little ones. My son is 4 and my daughter just turned one.
