Beautiful lodge with great views on the lake. The room was spacious with top of the line furniture and mattress. Bathroom was outdated, especially the shower. Our diner at the restaurant of the lodge was delicious and we enjoyed the covered back porch in the morning.

This is a laid back place with beautiful views of the lake, and plenty of room to relax outside and indoors. I didn't eat at the restauran, but both the dining room and pub were packed.

Event though it was an older building, the rooms were clean but needed ceiling repairs. No a/c but we were lucky the night was cool. My granddaughter was looking forward to go into the lake but the beach was not clean. There was goose poop all over. The chairs were filthy so we sat on a rock. The homemade ramp to the dock was just sitting on a rock which was dangerous. The front porch could have been a little cleaner and set up better. The food in the restaurant was excellent. One night stay was fine.

Great little place for lake access. The room was neat and spacious. I wish there was a mini fridge, and more space to keep/dry beach gear. It was nice to have a restaurant in the building, and hope they start opening for breakfast service.

We will definitely be coming back! Our xabin was right on the lake and the lodge is 4 minutes from the general store. Food at the Lodge's restaurant was amazing. The cabin was clean and in good condition. My only complaint us the ceiling fan was an older standing one and if the weekend had highs any more than 82 we would have been uncomfortable.

Staying at the Long View Lodge gave us a genuine Adirondack experience. We especially enjoyed the porch with its rocking chairs overlooking the lake. Shower was hot and the towels were luxurious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great place to relax. Quiet and comfortable. Restaurant offered friendly service and good choice of entrees. The porch was the best location to read and connect with old friends. We stayed here 20 years ago and still recommend it.

Very clean and friendly hotel. New bathroom. In a beautiful location on the lake, with large grounds that access the shore, The whole property has a rustic feel about it that is totally appropriate to the Adirondacks.

We chose the lodge based on its location and easy access to the fabulous restaurant and it did not disappoint. However, the room was really not sound proof. We could hear every sounds from the bathroom next door and from the bickering couple across the hall. Small things could help improve the comfort of the room, a few hooks in the large bathroom to hang clothes and a second night table for example.

This was a great place to relax outside and in the lodge itself. Convenient to many other areas of interest. There was a small beach for swimming, a large yard to relax, and a beautiful vista. The food was excellent.

Lovely old lodge, top notch restaurant for dinner, great laid back Adirondack ambiance. Furnishings in common great room a bit worn, housekeeping a bit lax in common areas. Bed very comfortable, good night's sleep. If you need air conditioning on a warm night, this is not the place for you.

Manager Matt was very friendly and extremely helpful: he and his nephew bailed me out when my truck was trapped by a fallen tree blocking a gravel road. They showed up with a chain saw and cleared the road. Much obliged!
