Great hotel, well located and fuss-free check in and check out. I arrived late at night and it was super easy to find the location, access the key machine and get into my room. The only down side is that there is no air conditioning other than opening the windows which have limits on them, so it was rather warm due to the heatwave. There was a large fan provided which was effective, but quite noisy to use in the night. The in-room drinks (water bottle, coffee sachets) weren't replaced when the housekeeping came each day which was a bit odd, but otherwise it worked perfectly for a short business stay in Vienna.

This is a wonderful place to stay in central Vienna, just outside the ring. There are excellent amenities with lovely restaurants and cafés nearby. City Hotel Riess could make it easier to contact them with questions or concerns. No lift so you need to carry heavy luggage up 3 flights, but worth it for the price and convenience. Cleaning staff were helpful and friendly.

Did not receive email to give me access to building after 2pm. Was travelling with friend who had used different booking agent so no problem. Nice to have fruit available and coffee pods once I worked out where they were. Home made cake also nice touch.

The cleanest hotel I have ever been in, and I have been in some pretty luxurious places, Sacher Hotel level. I love the kitchen idea, had I known that beforehand I would have made use of it for more than just a Nespresso. Good bed too ..

The room was clean and spacious and a very good deal for the price. But the reception is located on the second floor and there’s no elevator. So it might be a hazle if you have heavy bags. Also, the light in my bathroom was flickering and they never repaired it after I asked them.

Staff So kind and comfortable to stay, location is quite nice, quiet at night and tram stop is less than a minute walk away. Nicely-equipped clean room and public kitchen. Would definitely stay here again if I visit Vienna!

The instructions on thr front door stated to press the button for reception and another button for 'emergency'. Eventually got through to someone via phone. Room light kept flickering on throughout the night and early morning, each time i would have to physically turn it off. Mentioned it to reception after the first night, still had thr same issue the second night. Pros: Good location, room overall was perfect for one person, amenities (kitchen, laundry) were great.

They should highlight their early closing time for reception. Make one aware of hotel code in email on bold letters to ensure no issues arise.

Great location, walking distance to city centre and all the Christmas markets. Good kitchen area as well, a bonus. Only downside was walls are quite thin so could hear the TV, bathroom and snoring from the surrounding rooms!

New, modern and very clean, situated on the second floor of the buildong, restaurants and other stores on the first floor of the building.

We liked the kitchenette in the room options to keep and prepare our food or just having a coffee first thing in the morning. Property was very close to transit which made it easy to maneuver the city

This is a good hotel. The presence of a common kitchen and laundry room reminded me of my college days. The hotel could be reached by tram from Vienna Main Train Station (Wien Hbf). The tram stop is about 30m from the hotel. The room safe is a problem, and it does not lock [although it gave the user the impression it has been locked, but, a turn of the knob (after entering the locking combination) would proof otherwise!]. This problem was reported on the first day, but, was never addressed during my entire 4-night stay. I informed the check out staff of this issue when I checked-out, and even showed him the problem. I hope he had it taken care of, since, other guests, may not be as patient as I am. The maid (from Slovakia) works hard on her job. I witnessed her dedication to her duties. I hope the hotel management compensates her well!

Check in and out super easy and smooth. Location fantastic. Quiet peaceful location. Easy access to transportation. We’ll stay again and recommend this property to friends.

It was such a cute little room that was perfect for my short stay and I wished I had stayed a little longer. The location is good, it's not far from many interesting things and the street was not loud at night. The room and the shared kitchen space were very clean. I'm also grateful that they allowed me to keep my luggage onsite after checking out.

Small, but very efficiently organized, modern space, sparkling clean. At the edge of old town, walkable. Metro station nearby, too.

I love the location!! Less than a minute walk to the tram and it’s so well connected . The kitchen was super cool and you have everything you need . Good value for money

Was given extremely bad advice about parking that cost me a lot of money. This money was paid to a hotel parking garage, not to them. But meanwhile, although Expedica told me it had collected £188.40 from me, the hotel demanded a further £178.74 from me at checkout. I think something very badly wrong. It seemed very nice, but the double financial whammy at the end of my stay was shocking. This ended up being a third class hotel for the price of a very expensive one.
