A beautiful property overlooking the water. Walking distance to the main action but far enough away for tranquility. Our room was delightful with a spacious sitting area outside where there’s views of the pool and the sea. The staff were all friendly and most welcoming. Well priced. We’ll be back for sure

Great view of the beach

A lot of ants in our room (I had to ask for a spray from the reception the next day) but otherwise clean and good location for Koh Tao! Walkable to most areas.

Great location, friendly staff. There is a pool (and also a pool table) but even better there is a beach that’s essentially private and you can snorkel right there.

This property is a really lovely location with a lot of character. The pool is nice and has lovely sized bedrooms. Good restaurant and lots of things to do. The best part of this hotel is it’s location, you are right in the middle of everything yet the hotel itself feels like you could be in the middle of no where it’s so peaceful and quiet. Definitely recommend!!

Perfection! Our stay at DD Hut could not have been any better - definitely get the sea view rooms, so worth it, really enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings admiring the views. The staff have been super lovely and welcoming. Just sad they re fully booked out bow so we can’t extend to stay even longer!

Wow we loved this hotel! We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the view from the room was absolutely stunning (you can also watch the sunset). The hotel is lovely with a nice pool which is quiet. Perfect location close to everything and the snorkelling just outside the hotel is also amazing. Can’t recommend it enough!

Definitely recommend!

Very nice hotel, cute, comfortable and good location. It’s worth the price and the staff is very nice. Only thing is when we were there the pool wasn’t really clean but it doesn’t change that we really loved the place. They even have a shuttle to bring you to the pier for free.

Cute and secure property. One of most unique in island. Restaurant has amazing view and good craft beer but did not try food (neighbor said the fried kale was great). Helpful staff, decent breakfast at a decent price, and rooms are clean. Close enough to party beach to crawl but far enough it is quiet. Not too far from pier but don’t try to walk it.

Very nice resort

Loved DD Hut. Great location: near town and fun activities but was very quiet. Also some good snorkeling to do right at the hotel (a couple water access and convenient outdoor shower afterwards). Great service: special thanks to Pat for her warm welcome and the friendly restaurant and cleaning staff. 2 restaurants including one right on the water - super cozy. Family room was of good size, had all that we needed and was very clean. FYI - u can also rent scooters from hotel. We plan on visiting again. Highly recommended!

Best service help us carry bags, made us feel special and assisted with island activities. We stayed additional 2 more nights. American breakfast was not too bad. Best view out of our balcony that we stayed. There are so many hotels in this area, but I feel receive more for our money. I highly recommend DD Hut very romantic place.

Nice place, on a lovely island. Slept well and enjoyed the location. Small room, but Koh Tao isn’t the kind of place you spend any time in the room, so really wasn’t a problem. Great pool and check-in staff were very welcoming. Would also recommend diamond snorkelling, with Sugar as host, great trip!

As others have said, the staff at the front desk are very friendly. We stayed in room 11. The room had quite a few bugs in it throughout our 4 nights there (cockroaches, lizards, a big worm). The bathroom was in need of a freshen up as it just seemed quite old. The AC takes a while to cool the room down. The worst thing for us was the bed. It was rock hard and difficult to get a consistent sleep on. We considered moving hotel, it was that bad. We have stayed in loads of other places throughout Thailand and this was our worst (sorry). On the bright side - the pool is FANTASTIC. In terms of the view it’s simply amazing. Never too busy either. Can’t comment on the food as we never ate there. 500 baht deposit for the room key on arrival. I wouldn’t stay again...

Great pool area overlooking ocea, really friendly staff and good location. Bathrooms could do with overhaul but overall experience was good.
