Amazing! A cute couple owns this. Claudia makes breakfast from scratch every morning and it is delectable. You can pet and feed the goats and alpacas. It’s very cute. Great for a romantic getaway. Cozy bed. Stay here!

Absolutely charming bed and breakfast on a small farm. We went early May and only one other couple. Owner was out of town and we did a late check in but she was so nice and contacted us with check in instructions and prompt with any questions when we texted. The staff was great. Warm cookies awesome and small but charming rooms. It is further out from downtown so definitely need to Uber about 10-15 minutes. Book here for a quiet relaxing stay. Our absolute favorite thing were the alpacas and goats!!! Loved them and there were animal feed packages to feed them. Definitely would stay again but bring a car. We rented the little scooter buggy in town to drive around the island but it was expensive (like $200) but also so fun. And definitely go to the winery and oyster farm.

Everything was great. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the owners and guests. I highly recommend this BnB and would definitely return.

Oh my gosh!! This place is absolutely perfect!! The owner Claudia is just simply the sweetest person and makes sure everything is perfect for each of her guests. She makes sure you feel right at home from check in to check out. The property is gorgeous and I can’t wait to come again and stay here. We have had such a wonderful visit.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat, on incredible San Juan Island. Didn’t want to leave!!! Hosts were incredibly hospitable, helpful, enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. Inn is lovely, inside and out. Goats and alpacas were an entertaining bonus!

Amazingly built property! The hosts are wonderful and make you feel at home. They take care of your each dietary needs. There are a variety of options available in the house. I couldn’t be more impressed. Claudia and her family are super warm. I wish I could have stayed here more.

This is a very pleasant property a short distance from downtown Friday Harbor. The rooms are very clean and perfect for a couple to enjoy a little getaway. The breakfast changes regularly and there is something absolutely delicious for everyone from freshly made apple bread with a cinnamon sugar crust to egg cups. Almost best of all is the setting. You’re down a country lane and are surrounded by rural nature. You can feed the goats and alpacas and sit outside in a variety of garden locations and watch gigantic bumblebees work the heather. We came back from a dinner in town to a symphony by thousands of frogs, a dark sky and brilliant stars.

Absolutely loved the quiet neighborhood and the beautifully landscaped property. We loved all the quiet sitting areas in the arbor, near the pond and the alpacas and goats. The only thing we missed was a chair in our room. Was very difficult to put on and take off our hiking shoes sitting on the bed.

Claudia was so personable & attentive to the needs of her guests. This was truly my best b&b experience ever!!! Must mention the precious alpacas behind the main house!

We had no idea what to expect… and we were so pleasantly surprised! We loved our cozy room with a bathroom. Our bed was so comfortable and when I woke up the view of the farm was lovely. Thank you Claudia for your hospitality!

We love our stay at The Trumpeter!! Claudia and her family were amaimg hosts. They were kind, friendly, and willing to give recommendations. The room was so nice and the shared spaces offered room to relax, play games or watch movies. We loved that it was outside of town. The property offered great outside sitting to enjoy the sunrise/sunset and it was fun to feed the alpacas and goats. I highly recommend!!!

This was an adorable bed & breakfast run by the kindest family! They make a homemade breakfast in the morning, treats and cookies throughout the day, and are so attentive to guests and their needs! Super easy to get to from downtown/the ferry, gorgeous property, and clean great amenities in the room! Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Trumpeter Inn. The room (called "Sage") was impeccably clean and wonderfully decorated with a modern, comfy cottage feel. I loved that if felt "new" throughout the inn. The large, corner windows overlooking the grounds made the room airy and bright. The shared kitchen was very large and spacious with the sweetest corner table (there was also a lovely dining area in the main room). Little surprises were fresh cookies daily as well as crackers and feed for the goats and alpacas. We also made use of the tea-related items after hours - loved that. I can't say enough about Claudia and Tyrone who were the perfect hosts. If your concern is privacy, Claudia and Tyrone know the perfect balance between friendliness and allowing their guests space - something we weren't sure about as 1st time bed-and-breakfast goers. We were so glad to get to know them and they are definitely one of the reasons we will be returning. It felt safe, parking was easy, the grounds were beautiful, spacious and well maintained. It was so wonderfully quiet and peaceful. One wish - but certainly not a deal breaker whatsoever - is for an electric car charger. It may be a big wish, but all but 2 chargers (at the airport) were for overnight guests only on the island. For all the electric cars this amounts to having no access to a charger. Not a concern for hotels and inns I realize, but still - my wish as we had to plan our travel around the island accordingly.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our first experience with a bed and breakfast. The food was amazing and we really appreciated the comfortable feel of the whole property.

The Trumpeter Inn was the most peacful beautiful place to stay! The property was amazing and includes goats and alpacas, a pond, and a garden with many places to sit and relax. The breakfast each morning was amazing and meeting new friends around the breakfast table was so much fun! We also enjoyed a few board games which were available to play.
