Quiet location but walking distance to centre of Valletta, beautiful hotel with lovely staff (Andrea especially) enjoyed the roof top terrace on a few occasions . Would highly recommend.

This is a tiny, unique hotel, with a lot of charm. It is situated in the city, yet inside, you discover a glass covered belvedere which feels private and elegant. The rooms are really lovely and well equipped. The rooftop is open every day with a great view of Valletta. It is extremely quiet if you specify a quiet (inside) room when making a reservation. The staff was exceptional! Their attention to detail was a great comfort. If you arrive late, there are lock boxes outside with the room keys. Each step was illustrated in an email of exactly what to do. It was my first time, and it was so easy! The staff also made sure I was able to contact them directly should I have any problem. Very well situated, this hotel is a short walk (600 m) to the Independence Statue. This is where the Malta city sightseeing buses pick up (Valletta City Center stop). The main bus station is just across the street, where you can catch a ride to anywhere in Malta. If you move on past the bus station, you will find hundreds or restaurants and shops in the city center. There is also the Barrakka Lift, in the city fortifications, which will bring you 190 feet down to the Valletta waterfront and back for 1€!

The hotel is situated in Floriana, a 15-20 min walk to Valletta, the city centre. It is in a quiet street, which is exactly what I am looking for. As a solo female traveller, I was comfortable to walk back to the hotel at night time from Valletta (in general, it is safe in Malta). The room is clean and spacious. The mattress is very good and I am able to sleep very well every single night (I normally cannot sleep very well in a new bed). The owner is very nice and suggests a few places for me to go in the city. I did arrive late at night and the self-check in process was very smooth. I am very glad that I chose this boutique hotel and my stay was very pleasant. You will need to get your own water, as they only provide one small bottle of water on arrival, which has been clearly stated in the house rule or instruction. I don’t think the tap water tastes well in Malta. Thank you Ryan and Mia for the warm welcome. I enjoyed the stay with you!

What an amazing place to stay, Ryan & Mia were perfect, and the room was amazing. It is close enough to walk into Valetta and theynprovided handy little maps. The booklet theybprovided as information about Malta was very detailed and very helpful. Big thanks to them and we will definitely be back.

The hotel was really sweet. My room was on the ground floor. It was clean and comfortable. Everything you need was provided in the room. There were speakers on the ceiling in the toilet and the shower area, connected to the tv, this was very well invested which you would not even see in most 5 stars hotels. The only downside of my room was there was no window, daylight and the humidity in the room, which they have dehumidifier and purifier in the room for. It was not too bad though, specially if you are out all day and only come in to sleep and staying only for one-two days. Ryan and Mia are both so nice, kind and professional people. They really made me feel I'm home and in safe hands. I would definitely advise this boutique hotel to anyone with eyes closed. Thank you Ryan and Mia once again.

The hotel is located in Floriana, just outside Valletta. Easy to walk around and safe. Ryan and Mia are excellent host. They ensure you are informed and comfortable. As perMalta, it is a beautiful country with a very rich history.

Everything was excellent ! The hotel is near the centre of Valletta, about 10 minutes on foot. The stuff is friendly and really helpful with recommendations. They also sent us a digital guide with info about the hotel and some recommendations about the city. The room had everything we needed: super comfortable bed, really big and clean bathroom, a small fridge, clean towels, good AC, quality hair dryer. Our stay there was more than satisfactory! I would recommend this hotel for sure!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The Owner and the Manageress of the hotel where great. Very personal touch. Overall the accommodation was excellent. The room was great being on a split level we had a lounge and bedroom separate from each other which was a great joy and provided us with more space than a typical room. The hotel its self is about a 15mins walk from all the main tourist elements in the city. but its a nice walk into the main tourist area and great to have that element of separation. We would have no issues in recommending this hotel to anyone

We stayed for a week in this exceptional hotel. It is situated in Floriana, which is both quiet and just a ten-minute walk into the very heart of Valletta, and great for transport around Malta. Our duplex room in this beautifully converted old building was a design delight, featuring the classic golden limestone walls typical of Malta with excellent contemporary touches. The hotel owner and staff could not have been more helpful. 23 Boutique was a perfect place to stay.

The property was fantastic. As a fan of the big hotel chains, I was dubious about staying in a small hotel. However, I needn't have worried. The property has been refurbished to a very high spec, ultra modern furnishings and fittings and perfectly clean. The amenities were all that was needed; kettle, tea & coffee, hairdryer, basic toiletries. The staff were beyond helpful. Ryan spent time trying to help us find the street where my Dad had been born back in 1938, even accosting the more elderly locals as they walked past the hotel to ask if they knew where it was. We were also given plenty of ideas for things to do during the few days we were staying and Ryan was interested to hear about our days when we came back each day. Mia was just as lovely. She had useful tips about our trip back to the airport saving us time & money. The location was great. Just a 10-15 minute wander up to Valletta and all the hustle & bustle it has to offer. There are a couple of bars just round the corner and a coffee shop on the doorstep for fresh coffee & pastries. I would highly recommend the property for a stay in quaint Floriana.
