This BW has the best breakfast ever. The staff are wonderful and the rooms clean and spacious, with good Internet service.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night when travelling Texas. I selected the hotel due to its reviews indicating it was the best in the area and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel was overall very good. The location of the hotel is bang in the centre of Bandera, which is a small Texan ‘Wild West’ style town. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for everyone’s needs. Everything is walkable from the hotel itself. The staff at the hotel were excellent. They were friendly and helpful upon check-in and the breakfast lady was lovely in the morning during breakfast. The staff are a credit to the hotel. The breakfast exceeded expectations for a free breakfast. There was ample choice and it was good. The room was large, spacious and clean. The rooms appeared to be done up to a good standard and included all amenities you’d like. My only negative to the hotel was the air-con machine. It was located so close to the bed, that it had to be switched off as it made you too cold, but then the room got warm, so it was needed, so we had to keep switching it on and off throughout the night. Overall we had a very good stay and I’d recommend the hotel and happily stay again.

Very nice clean hotel. Seems new and updated. Breakfast had good choices. The rooms needed more sound barrier when built. I could hear people walking on the floor above me, and folks in the hallway easily.

Quick trip to meet our new Great Grandson. One night stay. Great room and service. Excellent breakfast.

Our room was over a bar that played loud music until 2 A.M. Staff was nice enough to allow us to cancel our second night there.

For being an old town, this hotel is clean and well kept! Would definitely come back!

I was extremely pleased to see the spacious room. We traveled with our two grandchildren and the room size made things much more comfortable for or stay. This hotel is very clean and the staff we encountered were outstanding. Breakfast was great with something for everyone from yogurt and fruit, to eggs, sausage,and potatoes. Waffles, bagels. Location was nice to walk to dinner or shopping.

The toilet and bath area is open to the rest of the room with no door between the toilet, sink, shower and foier. The room temp cannot be set below 66 degrees for sleeping, but no matter because the HVAC goes into energy efficient mode at night so the aircondition stops working anyway. The actual room temp never went below 70. The room was too cool to have just the sheet and to warm for the heavy blanket they provide. The room became stuffy and uncomfortable. We also had reservations for a stay three days later but canceled them.

Staff was great. Very good breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Now the bad. Room layout was terrible. Bathroom privacy is a concern. If entering from hallway, you are walking in on someone showing or using the toilet. Also very low water pressure and could not get the room to cool below 72 degrees. The staff said the AC goes into an eco mode when movement is not sensed? Crazy. Will not stay there again.

We were very impressed with our stay here. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious. It's PERFECT walking distance from everything we needed which made for a fantastic night. Our only complaint was that we were right above the bar playing loud music. It wasn't really a nuisance, just an observation. The next day happened to be garbage day, and that was a little loud to wake up to. Otherwise, we would ABSOLUTELY recommend staying (and will likely come back again ourselves!)

The hotel looks great and is in a great location. The water pressure in the shower is no more than a dribble and the walls are so thin, I could hear every word from the conversations next door. The breakfast was awful, as well. The staff was very friendly.

Stayed over New Years. What a great place. Shopping and dining near by. Very friendly staff.

Well worth the money even at full price. Be sure to get up early and take advantage of the breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff

The only major building in Bandera that’s been built in the last 100 yrs, really. It’s still the scruffy, dusty, authentic small town that it was when I was last here 20 yrs ago. The hotel has really large rooms, but are a bit stark, and have no carpets on the floor. They haven’t been thought out, as there are spaces where furniture should be. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming. The hotel sits on a very busy, very noisy road. The balconies are at the front but the noise would make it impossible to sit there. The parking is at the back, and why they didn’t build the hotel where the car park is, and put the car park at the front defeats me. It would have helped the noise problem. There is a hotel bar at one end of the building, and a commercial bar at the other. On one of my two nights the music kept me awake until just before midnight. Nice enough, but don’t get a room with a balcony, and don’t get a room at the ends of the building because of the two bars

Love this town and love this hotel! Be advised that if you like a balcony room, partiers may be out late at night on weekends so it may be noisier. Not the hotels fault, just be aware when booking! If you want quiet, don’t book a balcony on Main Street! If there is a parade, a balcony would be an amazing place to be, though!

The hotel and staff r nice . Unfortunately there is a bar connected to it. The bar stays open till 2 am and the music is so loud it was vibrating the whole hotel. When we called and asked they said they cud give us earplugs :(. Pretty silly stuff. Would not stay there again.

The property is great and the rooms are very spacious, clean, neat and priced right. This is my second time staying there. I would have given it a giant 5 stars but at least 2, if not 3 rooms above us were having a big party above us, then the next morning someone thought it would be funny to pull the fire alarm. I understand it is not the hotels fault that these things happen, but they should really walk the hallways every hour to curtail the mayhem.

Room was odd. You walked in and the bathroom was to the left open to the front door. There was a barn door from the entry to the living area but nothing to close the bathroom from the front door. Bathroom sink did not drain well. Shade on the left would not open and close. Door to balcony hard to open.
