The lobby and dining area looks great but once you get to the rooms, it’s another story. Paint stripped away ceiling with moisture and mold, dark musty smell, poor quality fittings that are falling apart

Great place with friendly staff. It is well hidden behind the beautiful trees, peaceful and quiet. I would stay there again next time in the area.

Do not go. The pictures make it look newly renovated but the rooms are dank. When we got there one of our rooms was actually moldy! They gave us a new one but they were still dank and smelled musty. This is largely because there is no outtake fan in the bathroom so all the steam from the shower goes into the room.
The breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean but it did not make it worth the price. Would not stay there again or recommend to others.

We had an amazing time with Holiday Inn Express in North Brunswick NJ.
Everything was just perfect, the room, the service, cleaning and breakfast. They had every morning Gluten Free bagels and muffins and fresh eggs. I have celiac so it was great to have this wonderful breakfast. The hotel’s location was also very good, close to everything. We will definitely going back on our next trip!

Staff are approachable and friendly. When I asked to clean the room though it was not on a cleaning schedule, they immediately responded and sent the crew to get the room cleaned.
They also have supplies and office setup which helped us at the very last minute. Staff personally came and helped to print stuff for us

The property was in beautiful shape. Almost brand new or at least felt like it. The rooms were extremely comfortable. The best part of our visiting was meeting Ruth, who checked us in. She was incredibly hospitable, even after a busy day. If everyone who worked in Retail had Ruth's amazing positive attitude and energy, it would be a whole new industry. She's a gem. Don't ever lose her!

You need a rental car. Subway approx 20 minutes away. Breakfast had a lot of options and variety.
I never saw the housekeeper during my stay. She dropped by on Thursday after checking in on Saturday. Overall it was a decent stay. Not a lot of things to see and do nearby.

I pre-paid for my stay and they asked for a credit card for a $50 deposit. I provided them one and they charge me for the room again and added the $50 deposit to it. They told me not to worry, it is only on hold, and it would be credited back to my account. Went to room to find that the room was not clean and went back to front desk and they apologized and provided another room. This morning, I received another charge for the room, and I called them immediately. They said they were cancelling the second charge while I was on the phone and the first, they would credit once they confirmed with Expedia as prepaid and check with them if I have not received a credit within 5 days. Never had an issue with prepaying and this is unacceptable as I now have to wait for the credit.

When we entered the room we were a little surprised to see a torn window shade. The room smelled musty but otherwise seemed ok. We arrived later at night so we jumped right into bed once we were settled. After only about one minute something crawled on to my forearm. I killed whatever it was and compared it to a photo of a bed bug. The photo was a match. We packed up and headed to front desk. The two young employees at front the desk were very nice but said they couldn’t refund the room. They told us they would show the manager in the morning and they would get back to us. We stayed at a nearby Marriott that night and went back to the Holiday Inn the next morning to see about the refund. The manager claimed it was not a bed bug and refused to refund the room cost. They gave me back the bed bug that was squished to prices in a napkin. The whole episode was infuriating but funny at the same time. The manager my wife spoke with later that day was so unprofessional we actually were laughing. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

We had a nice 4-day stay here. It was clean and the staff were courteous and responsive. The breakfast was quite ample and always fully stocked.
I would have given it 5 stars, except that several of the electrical outlets didn’t work and there wasn’t any sound deafening between floors. We were awakened several times by the occupants above stomping around or dropping things.

What were all looking for is a hotel that checks off all the right boxes and is cost effective. This newer hotel does that and is rated in our top three hotels of all time. We have traveled extensively and we were so impressed from the start. Easy, friendly check-in by Jianne. We immediately noticed that everywhere is truly clean and immaculately kept. The king room was a super nice size with a most comfortable bed and pillows. Great sized bathroom. It was such a good sleep and isn't that what a hotel is for? There's a business center in the lobby area with a printer, and also a nice lounge area for relaxing. Continental breakfast is served and they are heathy choice conscious. We will highly recommend the hotel to everyone. Book it in confidence! We will stay here again, when in the area.
