Little Bit tight in the bedrooms

The house itself & the location was lovely.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property & both times, payment has been an issue. Both times, payment came back with an error on booking.com & stated that there was an issue with my card ( there wasn't any issue with the card). Both times, I had to phone cottages.com to try to sort it. The first time it was resolved quickly but this time it took several phonecalls ( 4 or 5) & I just kept being told my payment had gone through to them fine so not to worry that it was showing as unpaid on booking.com ( I did worry shout it). They promised to get someone to update it on the booking.com system but that never happened & as a consequence I never received any check in details from booking.com - I had to phone cottages.com again to get the key code! Not ideal at all & the issue whatever it is needs to be resolved. Parking was also an issue. No parking is available at the property, so we had to take a chance of getting a space on the road or park at the station, which isn't ideal if you have small children or things to carry. Building work is taking place at the property next door so it was noisy. Unable to use the balcony or leave the door open because of this.

A very good holiday let. Slightly quirky, eclectic property.

We had breakfast in the house everyday, as the kitchen and balcony was a lovely place to eat. It was like staying in a curiosity shop, the house was exactly like the pictures in the add. Absolutely beautiful.

The accommodation was excellent. It could not be faulted.

The location, the upstairs living area, everything brand new and of excellent quality
