It was just perfect. Staff, beds, room and breakfast. The pub has good rates and the also the food was reallz good.

Das Hotel liegt nicht optimal an einer großen Kreuzung, die nachts aber wenig befahren ist. Lärm bemerkt man kaum.

Evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Staff very helpful and courteous. Amazing room, and very comfortable bed. Wi-fi easy to access. Great cleanliness in the bedroom and ensuite by Angela.

Super friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel comfortable and cared for. Nothing was too much trouble and every effort made to make our stay perfect. Lovely newly refurbished rooms are great. Easy free parking. We’ll definitely stay here again. Oh and great views of the Downs and the sea! And good choice of beers and wine in the bar. And excellent cooked breakfast.

Nothing at all to dislike.

We spent a Thursday night to see Brighton and Hove Albion play at Falmer Stadium, which is just down the road. The stadium is not walking distance, but there was an inexpensive shuttle bus that stopped in the hotel parking lot and took us to and from the match. The room was comfortable and the bathroom large with a separate tub and walk-in shower. We had no issues with noise from the pub downstairs (but there wasn't any live music, as it was a weekday). It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the pub, which was very convenient and tasty. I would absolutely stay here again.

For what we paid there is nothing to dislike

Could not fault the room, the bed was so comfy and the bathroom was lovely and clean! Also very handy that there is parking on site (rare in Brighton).

Slight confusion about whether I had paid for my stay or not when I got there… I had prepaid via booking.com and then was told at the property that I hadn’t paid and was asked to pay again. This was dealt with accordingly, but I have to mention it as I would have just paid again when asked but luckily called booking.com to check whether I had paid and they told me not to pay again! I don’t want the same thing to happen to other people and they end up paying twice.

Good quality food available at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Great location for attending B&H Albion home games. Convenient stadium bus service from right outside the hotel. Relatively quiet location in Brighton.

Air conditioning in the bedrooms would be helpful (we found three people in one room made things too hot in January). If you have any mobility issues, check to see if there are any ground floor rooms available - ours were up a steep, narrow set of stairs.

The location was excellent for our purposes. We wanted to get to an evening match at Brighton Stadium and a coach was laid on direct from the hotel. Regular bus services right outside. Staff excellent.

The shower was over complicated and hard to adjust. It also overflowed onto the bathroom floor as well as the drain being blocked on one occasion. Remedied quickly in the morning.

Good location for South Downs and Brighton, coast, surrounding area. Food - good quality, good presentation, wide variety of choices for all meals. Decor - a great deal of thought has been put into the appearance and comfort of the bedrooms, bar and restaurant. Staff - courteous, helpful, well trained.

Someone came into the room after night one and removed the only large towel I had. Assume this was a mistake by cleaner but not ideal after jumping out of shower to realise but not the end of the world.

Absolutely spotless. Huge and very comfortable bed. Ideally located to visit a relative who was at the hospital 2 minutes away.

The shower drain was blocked, but staff were very appreciative of me pointing this out to them. Not a problem but I was worried the shower tray would overflow!

Old original right hand side approach stairwell to bedrooms first floor a little too steep. Whereas the upgrade to rooms is very good, maybe the bedroom entrance doors should have been solid core and not hollow as corridor traffic noise can wake you up. The downstairs bar should remove the stools as two people sitting there restricts half the service area for waiting customers.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Near some lovely walks. Ideal location for exploring both South Downs and Brighton area. Excellent food especially the roasts and Brilliant breakfast. Lovely room. Overall the staff couldn’t have been more flexible and accommodating.

The only draw back I can think of the Hotel is on a very busy junction. So could be a little noisy at times. Through really didn’t seem to affect our stay that much.

So friendly, good location - free parking, convenient for public transport. Room was super clean and comfy. Bit hot as window rules upstairs🙄 great meals and tennis on in the bar at one end and footie at the other! What’s not to love?

Nothing. It was lovely. When weather is warm you need the fan on and the window wide open but they are limited for our safety. They are the rules but we are adults eh!

Over drinking by customer led to late night fight which brought policy, ambulances and disturbed the night. Not the fault of the hotel but of the silly UK relationship with alcohol

Exceptional customer service that matched any 5* hotel. Easy on site parking. Beautiful room that was immaculate (thank you Housekeeping!) and I really appreciated the touch of a hand written welcome card. Well done guys!

Breakfast and the choice was amazing as was the service very friendly gentleman perfect service. Location was perfect could be slightly noisy but option to close windows and use fan meant no problems at all.

On arrival the staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly. Our room was really nice, I loved the decor and a big thank you to the housekeepers who kept it super clean and tidy! We also are downstairs and the food was really good too.

One tiny thing, the pillow was a little too big/hard for me… but that’s not really a slur on the property, it’s more just a personal preference.
