Worst place i have ever stayed, So dirty dozens of code violations which will get reported, I have several pictures.The owner is to say the least pathetic to run a business as such

My double room was not ready when i arrived at 9:30pm. Manager gave me a single room that was ready with no credit. Bath window wouldn't close, sink was clogged, and no hangers on the coat rack. Towels, sheets, and pillows were clean as was the bath and remote did work on tv.

There is no staff on site. You have to call someone and wait about 20 minutes for that person to get there. Room had no towels,kleenex, and hardly any toilet paper. The heat didn't seem to work as we had to sleep with our clothes on. Also manager asks for a $20 cash deposit after running your cedit card which is weird. I guessyou get what you pay for.

The room was full of fleas. Woke up in the middle of the night covered with welts. Lest at 3am.

Not at all clean, didn’t felt safe. Checked out immediately as the room and bathroom are not clean.

We know not to have much for expectations when we stay at the Silver Street Motel. We have been staying there for years. It’s right on the trails and within walking distance of good drinks and food. It’s why we have chosen to stay there time and again. This last visit however, may be our last. Our group reserved 6 rooms. From no toilet paper, towels, blankets, or garbage cans to duct taped toilet seats, dirty towels left behind and garbage, we weren’t sure who’s room was worse. Again, we go in with little expectation but this was beyond. Management was rude and I’ll prepared. Most of us made our reservations months in advance so it’s not like we were a last minute stay. It’s sad. Seeing how little care was given to what could be a gold mine, broke my heart. We have had many great memories from our annual Hurley trips but I think this may be the last at the Silver Street Motel. Please do better.

Room was not very clean. Empty can of Red Bull found on floor by bed. Water from bathroom sink pipes leaked on the floor. Very few outlets. One was overloaded with plugs and duct taped. Lamp light bulb was out of socket.

Pretty sure these rooms are available to rent by the half hour. Super shady, we asked to see our rooms before we checked in and I’m grateful we did! WE DID NOT STAY HERE. Don’t even waste your time!

Do not stay here. No one at the motel to check us in! Note at the desk to call a number for check-in. No one answered the phone!!! Terrible place. Some rooms had long term renters.

Check in went smoothly & the person at the desk was informative. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked. However, the was NO wifi service in. My room which was reasonably close to the office. As one who uses the internet to write a blog each evening, this was a deal breaker. In addition, the TV, while it had a good variety of channels, was glitchy, with picture and audio freezing constantly, making watch programs a frustrating experience. While the price was low, wifi was advertised, but in my case, not provided. Would not recommend this motel for anyone who wishes to use wifi or watch TV.

I never even got to the hotel as my motorcycle broke down on the side of the road, I was wondering if they could refund me..

Staff very helpful and friendly

Truly terrible. Beds had hair and spots of blood on the linen. (the inside sheets, not just the top). No soap to be found anywhere, not even hand soap. AC in first room they offered wouldn't turn on and was jimmy rigged with a very long extension cord stapled over the door and along the wall. Second room had working AC but with windows partially boarded over, letting in tons of mosquitos. Like literally hundreds. Opened the fridge and a horrible rank smell came out that filled the whole room. We booked another hotel and left without looking back.

I arrived at the motel, I am here on business and needed an extra night due to my project carrying over. I stumbled upon this nostalgic gem, I have no idea when it was built but it was in the heart of the town. Easy access to everything, Jazmine at the front desk is the sweetest people you will meet and she made my check-in very pleasant. My room was clean, fresh towels, everything worked, I love the standard keys instead of key cards and my truck was parked right outside of my door. Quaint little stay and if I have to come back to Hurley/Ironwood I will definitely book again.

Paid for a two bed room and received one bed room

This place is absolutely FILTHY! I have never stayed in a dirtier place. We paid over $140/night, so I did not expect a dingy place like this. The bathtub was black with dirt, the place was dusty all over, and when fabreeze stopped working in the morning the room smelled terrible. We had to make an emergency stop with 3 kids, but it was just awful! Never again!

Good. The room were remodeled

We checked in and there was no heat in the room. The window was cracked open and it was 55 degrees inside. The sink in the bathroom is clogged and water doesn’t drain. No garbage can and there was old cheese and meat sticks in the mini-fridge. The man who runs the place is very nice and did give us a space heater to use during the stay. They would have swapped our room but were booked up. All and all, it was not terrible but not as expected.

The staff was extremely rude, my room wasn’t ready for 90 minutes after check in. The bed was uncomfortable. There were no towels for a shower and there was water damage on the ceiling which was likely mold.

Bathroom

Cheap clean rooms but lousy service. No one at front office available in mornings. Charged extra for parking with trailer. Room not ready until 6:00pm. Trashy clientele. Will not go back.

This motel accepted our reservation. When we arrived at the motel, we were told they couldn't honor our full reservation of three days for two rooms, but could get us a room for a night. Based upon this information, we checked out the next morning. They refused to refund my money because they later said they had rooms available. They are absolute scammers and I would caution anyone against staying there.

Clean room in downtown. Golfed and went out for Italian Days. Convenient

I liked the Area

It was the most disgusting motel I have ever seen. The lobby and hallways smelled like cat urine. Our room had an odor of cat urine and smoke. I pulled the sheets back on the bed and there was a long black hair. Clump of black hair on the floor. Small blood stains on pillow case Checked out after an hour stay. They refused to refund me my money

This place is cheap and close to downtown. However, the TV didn't work (which I didn't care about but the guy at the desk didn't tell me until I was already unpacking), there were no towels, and whoever was next door decided it would be a good idea to keep their TV or radio on all night.
