Beautiful old house with modern amenities. My kids loved seeing the chickens and horses and a friendly cat was waiting for us outside every morning. The hosts are friendly and their home is on the same piece of property so they were there to welcome us and answer some questions when we were admiring the horses in the "meadow." Not a complaint, but be warned, it's an old house, so there aren't many outlets in the bedrooms, you might want a few power strips with long cords if you want a phone charger on each side of the beds. (This has become part of my standard VRBO packing list when you're staying somewhere with old houses!) It is modernized, so 3-prong outlets, just not in the most convenient locations.

We had 6 adults and 3 kids under 15 during our stay. It was spacious, no one was stepping over each other and was a great center location for all the plans we had for the weekend.

Very nice clean old farmhouse. John and Sarah were extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommend this rental.

Amazing house!!! Peaceful and quiet!!! I felt like I was back on my grandparents farm. Looking forward to staying here again in the future and would recommend to anyone I know.

Ideal place for a group of 8 ladies that attend church together to spend a couple days enjoying the food, shows and shopping.

The property was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The rooms were large, and the beds were comfortable. One of the owners came down and introduced themselves and to check on us. The Children delivered a delicious home cooked meal. We will definitly be back when in the area again

Sarah was a most gracious host and the property was excellently kept and thoughtfully decorated. The little toys and books excited my 2 year old, and traveling as a family of 8 we were grateful the washer/dryer was full size. Overall the pine hill getaway was a lovely place to stay!

This property was as described. It was clean and well kept. Everything you need was available. It’s close to everything. The owner was attentive even though we never saw them they communicated to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. I would recommend this property to friends and would stay there again.

The property is 7 minutes away from the Sight and Sound Theater. The owner we met a few times, really nice Mennonite, who was ever present on the property. He was very nice, asked about our stay and even offered any help if we needed it. The farm fresh eggs that they sold on the property, that we bought were amazing. The house was extremely clean and large enough for.my entire family that stayed. The only issues we experienced were the beds. They were advertised as queens, but were more like doubles. My wife and I are used to a Queen, so thats what we were expecting. Other than that issue, which we quickly got over, the house was quaint and had charm and a few luxuries like a keurig, fans in some rooms and AC. There was no TV, butbwe were able to connect with each other without having that as a distraction. It was wonderful. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling the area!!

The house was perfect for our needs. Rooms were large and very clean. Located near Strasburg with easy access to other areas for shopping, dining, etc. Owner was very friendly. Plan to stay here again for our next visit in the spring.

We enjoyed the house so much, loved the Scriptures posted throughout the living areas, and felt right at home the entire time! The owners came down and introduced themselves and we had a nice chat around the fire. Super clean, well kept adorable house.

The pictures don't do this farmhouse justice. It is beautiful. Bedrooms are spacious and so comfortable. Window air conditioners keep the rooms just right. Sarah, the owner checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Dining room table plenty big enough for our Bible study and playing games. I cant say enough good things about our stay. Can't wait to go back and stay there again.

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the animals and the family. The area is just peaceful, beautiful and charming.

The house was very clean and bigger than the pictures make it look. Our kids enjoyed seeing the chickens out back. We would definitely stay here again when we are out in the Lancaster area.

Well kept but could have a-grip bar in upstairs bathroom. Home is very well equipped for our stay Highly recommend this home away from home!! Sarah came to see about us and brought us garden lettuce. Yum! Fresh eggs were already in the refrigerator

Plenty of room to spread out in this spotless home. A perfect place to relax close to everything but far enough to seem rural. Thoughful hosts, charming chickens,everything you could want!

This home was exceptionally clean and relaxing. No TV which was great. A dozen fresh eggs in the fridge was an added bonus. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Perfect home base for visiting the area

Traveling with my wife and two small children can be stressful but this place was great. It was a lot bigger than we expected, my daughters loved it, and in a great quiet location close enough to everything but far enough away as a nice place to relax. Plus farm fresh eggs!

The home was more than you could ask for located in a great place off the main road. Stores and distance to event location were very close. John and Sarah were great and welcoming checked to make sure everything was ok would surly stay here for next event

We enjoyed our stay in Pine Hill Getaway. The house was super clean, and we had lots of room to spread out.. So quiet and peaceful. We loved seeing the horse and buggies go by and the chickens in the back yard. Highly recommend this property. We hope to come back in 2023.

My family and I have been vacationing in this type of property for years. I have to say this has been the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Everything was spotless and the communication with the hosts was great. My three year old daughter loved watching the chickens in the mornings. Would vacation here again!
