It was excellent stay from the moment check-in with Ms. Brenda to our room, staff at the bar. Seasons cafe, breakfast was awesome, our server DeDe was great. We will be back. Clean place, customer service was excellent. Friendly staff.

The hotel itself was lovely, but the service wasn’t the best. Rooms were large. Would have loved a bath tub, but great shower! Location to Memphis was excellent.

First I tried using the phone in the room it didn’t work, then there was no hot water until the next day also I left Sunday for church at 7am came back about 2pm the room was not clean went to go get something to eat came back still not clean call about 5pm reported so someone showed up at about 6:30 and cleaned it up. The other day someone just walked in to our room then came in wow, we were sitting in the room I made a report about all this and nothing was done I need some answers please thank you

Room was outstanding. Since it’s a casino, security was a pain. You have to show identification multiple times before you get to your room. No place to buy breakfast at the facility.

Lobby (w/casino) was a bit noisy, but room was perfectly quiet.
High security to get inside-- so need to provide ID every time going into lobby. Also needed to turnover ID to borrow luggage cart- though they have tons of valet attendants who could make sure cart does not wander off.
Room was large, very clean, and well illuminated. Shower was very modern. Bathroom was large compared with other hotels in area.
Only 2 bath towels provided.
No extra blankets in room.

Great place to stay! Very nice, clean and new. The service was great in the restaurants except for the am breakfast crew. They gave us menus and after 30 minutes of no return we left.

I love staying here when I visit Memphis. As a female solo traveler I feel safe and I don’t worry about anyone trying to steal my car because they have top notch security. The rooms are very clean and their showers are to die for. I definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay again.

Being attached to a casino, I was not expecting it to be as clean and quiet as it was. The room was spacious and the shower was absolutely to die for. parking would have been convenient if I had known where to park lol. Will definitely recommend

Looked forward to having some fun lose a little at gambling and have a appetizer or two and take off in the morning. The gambling was unorganized they did not have an armature start up kit or instructions and the food was limited. The room was nice and the bed and shower were great.

Huge room and bathroom. Spotless. Staff was great and very friendly. We didn’t gamble but enjoyed walking around the casino. Good food options but the steak house that we wanted to go to was closed on Monday. After traveling all day we enjoy a sit down meal with waitstaff and adult beverages. Unless we wanted to eat at the sports bar in the smoking area of the casino we were out of luck. Went to a Mexican restaurant close by which was great.

Room was clean and nice except for AC which made a rattle all night. Hotel staff were helpful enough BUT Security Staff were unprofessional, rude, and misinformed on hotel operations. Valet staff also rude with no, or little concern for guests. We are very easygoing people and not hard to make happy but we will NEVER stay at Southland again! As a retired Lt. with the State of Arkansas police I know a little bit about proper security procedures and Southland Hotel/Casino’s are laughable at best as to guest safety or overall enjoyable experience there!
