Beach, view, thermal pools. Friendly, attentive and efficient staff.

The hotel has a free shuttle form the airport but guests arriving by ferry are expected to take the local bus or a 50.00 taxi ride. When I complained the hotel arranged a 25.00 taxi ride which I appreciated but I think there should be free transportation from the ferry as well as the airport. I felt discriminated against because I arrived by ferry rather than by air. The booking.com listing says the hotel has a restaurant which I, as an American took to mean there was a restaurant where you could go for your meals when you wished. However it is the European situation of the restaurant being only for guests who purchased full or half board in advance. This was a problem for me as there are no restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. This situation should be made clear by booking.com.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 6 days in the sea view room and booking half board. The hotel's restaurant serves good quality food with different choice among fish, meat and vegetable menu. We highly recommend the sea view room! We choose this hotel also for the thermal water in their spa which reaches 30° temperature and it includes different hydromassage. We loved to stay in the pool and be relaxed in the solarium with sea view. The hotel is in a quiet area of Ischia, but it is easy to move by public transport to Sain Angel island (faster by taxi boat) or Ischia Port.

Very friendly staff although a guest not there for a week of terme treatments like me had to figure a lot out on my own. The setting is lovely and my balcony was a great refuge in the evenings. The walk to the beach was not taxing for me but might be for others. Very nice man kept the private beach clean and orderly. The evening meal had good salads and full course dinner. It was not especially healthy food for a spa but competently prepared if somewhat catering to German palates. If I were there longer than 3 days I would probably have been able to experience the property more fully.

As a solo traveler I was initially seated at a very poor table. Luckily I found another solo traveler to have dinner with. The spa treatments I selected were good but not outstanding. The location is on the southern shore of Ischia so be prepared to pay for taxis as the buses seem very crowded for travelers with luggage. The front desk staff were very helpful arranging taxis to share.
