The hotel is situated really high up on the mountain with magnificent views of Mt Etna. We had a room on the third floor (so be sure to pack light as there is no lift). The hosts were friendly and helpful although English proved a challenge. A decent typical Italian breakfast was provided in the morning.

Since the hotel advertised wifi with the room, it was disappointing to have it in the lobby only (take note). Parking was provided but some distance away and with a big difference in altitude (climbing up and down to get to it). It is a steep, unforgiving and “interesting” drive up to the hotel, on a hair-raising road with many steep bends—but for which you’re rewarded with beautiful views of Etna and the coast.

We fell in love with this hotel. Simple and beautiful at the same time. It offered us everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. The views are exceptional, the owners are very friendly and helpful, we also really liked the breakfast- a typical Italian tasty croissants, cappuccinos and juices.

View is exceptional, village is small, but has all facilities, breakfast croissants delicious, as was the coffee. Restaurant next door also great food. Parking was tight, but achievable.

A lovely family run hotel, the hotel has everything you need for your stay. What makes this place special is the warmest hospitality from the owners and the views are unbelievable. Breakfast was delicious, and they couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay, even called a taxi for us when the bus didn’t arrive on our departure. Will definitely be back!

The hotel desperately needs renovation

The hotel is located at the very top of a tall rock formation near Taormina. From the rooms' balcony once can see Mount Etna as well as the city of Taormina and the coast. The views are fantastic. It may be the only place with parking, they have two or three spots that they can save for you. The price to pay for the great views is the road to get there. Very narrow, steep and lots of hard curves and nice views of the precipices. This may be a good or a bad thing, depending on your comfort level with such a thing. I am scared of heights, so it made for a very stressful driving to the top and down. There is a bus that will take you to Taormina, even then I could not look outside the window. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

The hotel is stuck on the 70s. The rooms are very big and so is the bathroom, but it has a strange distribution. The shower in the middle of the bathroom, and the water falls outside even when careful.

The room was clean. Nice view from the room. Continental breakfast. Value for money.
