The hotel is very central to a pleasant town. The country around is lovely. The breakfasts were very good, and the staff were helpful.
I was pleased that there was an option to skip room cleaning to save the environment - however, pn those missed days there was no top up of the hospitality tray in the room. Could these jobs not be separated?

Great location although car park very hard to find. I gather it has a different post code to the hotel - would have been good to know before arrival! Staff friendly. Very central and close to Powis Castle. Room quiet even though centre of town. Able to open windows.
No armchair in my mother’s room.
I left out the notice in my door indicating I didn’t want towels changing after one night - however it would have been nice for the staff to have changed the dirty cups in my room and made the bed. No fridge in room although able to ask for fresh milk in flask.

Great food, comfy beds, central location with parking. Lovely and helpful reception manager.
No lift, lots or stairs. Bar stopped serving food at 2.15 on a Saturday which seemed odd.

Breakfast offered a good choice and was very nice. Dinner was really good with a varied choice. Also a good choice in the bar for lunch

Lovely twin room. Well appointed, clean, quiet, comfortable, good value. We were really impressed when we opened the door to our room.
The water pressure was a bit variable in the shower but I overheard there was an issue that day

The staff were friendly and helpful, the decor tasteful, clean room, comfy bed
Our door was difficult to unlock, had to ask for robes and slippers which were supposed to be in room. Menu choice limited, food was nice enough but not fine dining.

Breakfast was good staff friendly and not noisy. Coffee was good once you managed to open pouch.
For a superior room not enough room to get in and out of bed very narrow between bed and wall, coffee stains on bedside cabinet and seal failing around bath also had to get scissors to open the coffee pouch.
4.5
Breakfast was fantastic especially the locally sourced snorkers! The staff were very helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpful. As a single traveller i feel safer when i can combine accommodation with parking and food. Package Inc breakfast but can obtain dinner in its great restaurant and lunch in its cafe. Close to a variety of shops and cafés.
Leaving - it is a popular hotel. I would have loved to stay another night but it was fully booked.
It is an old Hotel, I worried at night as i was very restless , that my second floor creaking floorboards disturbed 1st floor occupants.

Excellent location for town and castle. Friendly staff including the cleaners. Both my continental breakfast and my husband's cooked breakfast were very good
A ledge in the bathroom hadn't been dusted and the pillows were too hard for me

Lots of character and history and very comfortable yet alll mod cons incl usb sockets in room sockets.
Room views were probably interesting to those interested in industrial architecture ! But the area is of historic interest in that way.
